Awwww β€” Sarah Paulson Is Proud Of Her "Unconventional" Romance With Holland Taylor!

Sarah Paulson is honestly shocked at how many people are fascinated by her romance with Holland Taylor. As you surely know, the American Horror Story actress has been dating the 74-year-old industry vet for about three years now -- and people still can't get over it. For a sit down with NET-A-PORTER's digital magazine, titled The Edit, Miz Paulson defended her unconventional relationship by noting that it's the "least interesting thing about [her]." Related: Australian MP Proposes To Longtime Boyfriend The Emmy winner explained: "My life choices are, um, unconventional. I'm with a much older person and people find that totally fascinating and odd, and, to me, it's the least interesting thing about me. But I do feel a bit unconventional." Thankfully, Sarah is totally unapologetic for the independent life she leads. She continued: "I am a woman of a certain age who chose not to have children, and who has made my career my priority. I am the captain of my own ship, and I've never looked to anyone else to validate that, or tell me it's okay." YASSSS, kween. Sadly, many tried to dissuade the 42-year-old from pursuing a relationship with Holland as some thought it would affect her career. The American Crime Story vet added: "Early on, when people found out I was with Holland, some said: 'I think you have to be careful, I'm afraid it's going to affect your career negatively.' I was like, what? It never occurred to me at all." Regardless, prior to her acceptance speech at the 2016 Emmy Awards, Sarah wasn't certain if she'd acknowledge Taylor during her address. Paulson recalled: "It occurred to me, should I not [say 'I love you' to Taylor onstage]? And then I thought, why would I not? The fact I'm having this thought is wrong. But I had a moment of societal concern; wondering if, maybe, people who didn't know that about me would be like, wait, what? But then, you know, I did it anyway." Love always wins! Although Sarah is baffled by all the attention she gets, she does acknowledge one very cool thing about herself -- that she is in a group chat with Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, and Awkwafina. In case you forgot, Paulson stars alongside these powerful ladies in the upcoming Ocean's Eight movie. Sarah should get used to people talking about her, as her star power is about climb even higher! Long Island native Aaron Kluger was arrested on Saturday after a relative told a local animal hospital what happened to the family dog. It seems on November 6, Aaron bit his his parents' dog Chloe's head, pulling out the 3-year-old Shih Tzu's eyeball. THANKFULLY, the veterinarian was able to reattach the eye and is hopeful Chloe will regain her sight. Related: WARNING! Bone Treats Are NOT Safe For Your Dog! As for Aaron, he's facing one charge of misdemeanor animal torture after an investigation by the Nassau County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Innerestingly, the 20-year-old's parents are actually defending Aaron as just having been playful with the dog. 58-year-old Dan Kluger told the NY Daily News: "It was an accident. You should know that a Shih Tzu's eye can be displaced just by pulling the skin back... They put it back in place. It was hardly noticeable. I didn't even think she required immediate medical attention." Wha?? Yeah. Mr. Kluger went on to call the arrest "totally outrageous": "This is crazy. They made it appear as if he performed vivisection on this dog. My son is suicidal now. He's terribly upset." Mom Mary Kluger backed her husband's story that Aaron was the only one who wanted to take Chloe to the animal hospital in the first place: "He was playing with her and it busted out... He was concerned. He saw that it was slightly out and he went online and he saw that it was something that had to be taken care of, so he made sure that his dad brought the dog to the animal hospital." According to the SPCA, vets were able to easily determine the bite on Chloe's head came from a human. That doesn't sound like "playing" to us. Maybe that dog just needs a new home altogether... The Backstreet Boy defended his longtime bandmate on Monday, insisting Dream singer Melissa Schuman's claim that Nick raped her in 2002 was completely "bogus." Catching up with TMZ at LAX, AJ said his bandmate is nothing if not a gentleman and a scholar, and just isn't the kind of guy to perform such a heinous act -- despite other startling accusations against the singer. Video: Melissa Says She Forgives Nick About Alleged Rape AJ's sentiments echoed that of Nick's Dancing With The Stars partner Sharna Burgess, who also defended the 37-year-old after the shocking allegations came to light.
