Emilia Clarke & Kit Harington React To That Game Of Thrones Sex Scene: "Ewwwww!"

The Game of Thrones season seven finale was satisfying for many reasons, but none more than the episode's title teased us about. After (seemingly) uniting the Houses together to fight against the army of the dead, Fire finally laid with Ice. The Dragon danced with the wolf. Daenerys Targaryen climbed Mt. After (seemingly) uniting the Houses together to fight against the army of the dead, Fire finally laid with Ice. The Dragon danced with the wolf. Daenerys Targaryen climbed Mt. Jon Snow, and he in return took a plunge into her dragon pit -- and it was GLORIOUS. Not as glorious, however, when considering that Westeros' hottest love scene played out while fans were reminded that the two characters are actually aunt and nephew! Related: Twitter Reacts To Game Of Thrones Finale!! Though fans may have made peace with the fact that Jon and Dany are secretly related, the characters have a lot to be nauseated about. At least, that's what Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington teased would be the response after the Targaryen truth bomb gets dropped in season eight. Speaking to EW, Clarke considered her character's reaction to the news that she was fucking her own fire and blood, laughing: "Ewwwww! I think that's how it's going to go. I get the toothbrush—" Well, we can't really blame her, can we? Especially given the fact that Jon Snow's true identity -- Aegon Targaryen -- now threatens Dany's claim to the Iron Throne. In the finale, it was revealed (again) that Jon/Aegon's parents Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark were secretly married, making him the true heir to rule Westeros. According to Clarke, that's going to put quite the spike in the new relationship -- because Dany ain't about to share: "I've worked so hard, I don't want to share that throne. No. The throne's big enough for one dragon bum, and that's mine. That's it!" Loverboy Harington wasn't as concerned with the impending doom of Jon and Dany as for how to realistically ramp up their chemistry during their short time together over the past four episodes. Related: Trump Administration -- As GoT Characters! Speaking on the pressure to play out the biggest romance of the series, he explained: "Usually you go into a movie and meet [your costar] for the first time and you develop that chemistry over that time. But if you've known somebody for seven years and shared this incredible journey in your own lives together … we're both kind of freaking out about it. I would be like, ‘What's the sexual tension in this scene?' and she's like, ‘Stop talking about sexual tension!' It's a unique experience to be in as an actor and you know the world is watching." Clarke had more confidence in their palpable chemistry, adding: "Yeah [I would say], ‘Would you just stop? Just give me some sexy eyes, don't keep talking about sexual chemistry all the time… I love that when we get to the saucy stuff it's a beautiful acceptance of a wordless … yep." Yep! Clark notes the big realization for Dany was when Jon left Dragonstone to journey beyond The Wall to capture the wight: "She's just like: Why don't I want you do go? Why don't I want you— doooooon't fall for him. Don't do it! There's a battle going in on herself." As for Jon's reaction to learning who he truly is -- and who he's truly banging -- Harington would only say: "I said to Emilia it's going to be a really cool scene when they find out." But as for what they'll do after they find out, only the writers know! He added: "That part of it, I can't predict. It could be them walking off into the sunset. It could be them killing each other." Seeing as this is Game of Thrones, we already know which tragic end to expect. So let's enjoy the ride while we still can -- we know Jon and Dany sure are! [Image via HBO.].....»»

Jon Snow"s Wight-Hunting Party Ends With The Biggest Game Of Thrones Death Yet! Get The Beyond The Wall Recap!

It's a wight-hunting party and we'll cry if we want to! And with the major (yes, MAJOR) casualty Jon Snow's (Kit Harington) last-ditch plan resulted in, we certainly teared up during this week's Game of Thrones. And with the major (yes, MAJOR) casualty Jon Snow's (Kit Harington) last-ditch plan resulted in, we certainly teared up during this week's Game of Thrones. Video: Kit Does His Best Impression Of A Dragon! There were quite a few moments in Beyond The Wall that struck a chord: sisters plotting against sisters, mothers losing children, and aunts having naughty thoughts about their nephews. How are fans supposed to feel about all this? Read the recap of the latest hour (below) to find out! Blistering Bonding The episode kicked off with the Fellowship of The White (that's Jon Snow, Jorah Mormont, Thoros of Myr, Beric Dondarrion, Tormund, The Hound, Gendry, and a few disposable extras) trudging their way North of the wall on their impossibly dangerous mission to capture a wight to prove to Cersei the Army of the Dead is real. The party gets a lot of fun bonding screen time as they trek through the tundra. Gendry complains about how cold AF the North is. Tormund suggests that Jon get over his pride and bend the knee to Dany. Gendry complains some more about Thoros and Beric selling him off to Melisandre. The Hound tells Gendry to stop his whinging. Jon and Jorah discuss their daddy issues and swords and honor but don't bring up how they're both in love with Dany. Still With This Letter? Back at Winterfell, Littlefinger's plan to drive a wedge between the Stark sisters is going smoothly. Too smoothly, in fact, because Arya (Maisie Williams) is kind of being a Faceless drag about that raven-letter Sansa was forced to write when she was in the Lannister's hold back in season 2. Arya concludes that Sansa (Sophie Turner) is worried she'll show the letter to the lords of the North and destroy her image as Lady of the North. Sansa's all, "you wouldn't dare," and Arya's like "bitch, I just might." We cut through the subtext to save you from another long winded chat overlooking the courtyard. (Get to the point, Arya, there's only one episode left this season!) Meanwhile at Dragonstone, Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) and Dany (Emilia Clarke) discuss their upcoming meeting with Cersei. After the Hand tells the Dragon Queen she kind of overreacted when she impulsively decided to fry both Tarlys last week, Tyrion reminds Dany that she wanted to "break the wheel" of merciless rulers. Tyrion then pushes his luck by bringing up the subject of Dany's successor, reminding her that she can't have children (read the room, Tyrion.) Dany will only discuss this matter after she sits on the Iron Throne. Beary Close Call Up North, the men continue to bond (it's a long trip!) -- Tormund tells The Hound how he plans to have giant warrior babies with Brienne of Tarth. The Hound makes a subtle comment about Brienne almost(?) killing him for fans to giggle over. Beric and Jon discuss the meaning of life and why they were brought back from death. Beric tells Jon the Lord of the Light chose them to stay alive to protect and save lives -- an answer that seems to satisfy the always-brooding King in the North. The bonding gets put on pause when the party gets attacked by an undead polar bear. One of the extras is killed, and the bear begins to maul Thoros sort of like that scene in The Revenant. Except this time, there are flaming swords that kill the bear before Thoros becomes totally useless for the mission. He's really a good sport about it. After this encounter, the band of brothers finally sets sight on a white walker and his clan of backup wights. A brief battle filled with zombie gurgle SFX ends up with Jon taking out the lead walker -- which effectively incinerates all of the wights except one. This special wight they capture, but not before he summons the rest of the army with a zombie screech. Run, Gendry, Run! Knowing trouble is on the way, Jon orders Gendry to run back to Eastwatch and send a raven to Daenerys -- because he's the fastest, and because we all want to see the Hound use Gendry's hammer. Gendry reluctantly dashes off as the wights appear -- prompting Jon's party to run across a frozen lake to a small island. The wights close in on the humans until the ice breaks and a good chunk of them fall into the water. Our heroes are now trapped in a frozen wasteland surrounded by the army of the dead. Night passes, and the band of brothers realizes they will soon freeze to death. Oh wait, Thoros already froze to death. Awkward. Pour one out for the homie. Jorah and Jon deduce that killing a white walker will also kill all the wights they've created. Beric concludes that killing the Night King, who is stoically watching them from a snowy bank, will kill them all. Good to know! Gendry makes it back to Eastwatch and collapses before the gate. The guards come out and he gasps about sending ravens to Dany. You done good, kid. More Bad Ideas After receiving an invitation to King's Landing, Sansa sends a reluctant Brienne on her behalf. Brienne is worried about leaving the Lady with Littlefinger -- who, earlier in the episode, reminded her that Brienne would be the only one to stand in the way if either Stark sister conspired to harm the other. Clearly, Sansa's more worried about Arya. Oh, just you wait, Lady... At Dragonstone, Dany climbs aboard Drogon against Tyrion's advice. Putting her own life at risk, she takes off for the North on a rescue mission with Rhaegal and Viserion in tow. Frost Bite Jon and his iced comrades are in trouble. After the Hound starts throwing rocks at the wights, they learn the water around them has finally frozen solid again. This causes the wights to advance, and an epic fight ensues. Wights close in on every corner, and it's a dire situation for our heros. Tormund almost gets ripped apart, but is saved by the Hound at the (very) last second. Nice! The last extra in their party isn't so lucky, and falls into a pack of snow-zombies who do what zombies do best. All while their captured wight lies on the ground making zombie hisses. It's looking grim for the comrades, until Dany comes flying in to save them with her dragons! The place is then LIT THE FUCK UP with fire. Skeleton warriors are set ablaze! Drogon swoops down and everyone climbs aboard! Except motherfucking Jon Snow, who is still fighting. Meanwhile, the Night King reaches for his mystical ice-spear and launches it javelin style. No, not at Jon -- at Viserion flying in the sky! Yeah, this fucker has impressive upper body strength -- because that ice-spear travels hundreds of feet in the air and fatally hits Viserion right in his dragon heart. Close up of heartbroken Dany as one of her children (albeit, the one named after her evil brother) sinks into the icy waters. Sad! The Night King readies another ice-spear as Jon is overtaken by some wights and falls below the ice. Too slow, Jon Snow. Dany takes off, and the second ice-spear BARELY misses a fleeing Drogon. Seconds later, Jon surfaces. The wights notice and savagely dash towards him, but he's saved at the last second by -- who else? -- Uncle Benjen! The sort-of-undead Stark slaps Jon on a horse and sends him back to the Wall before proceeding to take down the oncoming horde with that fiery skull thing he likes to whip around. Thankfully, Jon makes it back to Eastwatch. He's loaded onto a Targaryen ship, where Dany marvels over his heroic stabwounds/even more heroic abs. Consider her fire lit. Snoopy Starks At Winterfell, Sansa sneaks into Arya's room and finds her genuinely unsettling bag of faces. Then things get even creepier when Arya basically manifests in a puff of smoke and slowly creeps toward her sister with her hands behind her back. Arya reveals the deadly skills she picked up at the House of Black and White and threatens to chop of Sansa's face so she can finally feel what it's like to wear those pretty dresses. Um... or you can just, like, borrow one, Arya? Sansa is left feeling unsafe and creeped out. Fire and Ice On the ship, Jon wakes up to find Dany at his bedside. He apologizes on behalf of her reptilian loss, and she swears to help him defeat the Night King. Jon then one ups her and agrees to bend the knee, calling her "my queen." Heavy hand holding and sexy eyes follows. Dany leaves all flustered. This is happening, people! Back up north, the wights work together to carry Viserion's giant corpse out of the lake with chains. The Night king comes over and delivers a game changing blow with the touch of his mystically cursed, undead hands: the dragon opens his now-blue eye, officially resurrected as a white walker flyer! Yup, we finally got our long-rumored ice dragon! Now for that season finale.... [Image via HBO.].....»»

Photos: Game Of Thrones Cast In Between Seasons 6 & 7 While Arya Stark impressively took out the entire Frey clan during last week's GoT episode, another famous family faced destruction during Sunday night's showing of the HBO drama. As promised, the battle on the Narrow Sea brought all kinds of bloodshed, but not until the very end of the episode. So, strap in, and discover everything that went down during season seven's second episode, titled Stormborn. Alliances Are Made And Solidified During a dark and stormy night at Dragonstone, Daenerys Targaryen unexpectedly grills Varys over his history of flitting from one ruler to the next. After vowing his loyalty to the Mother of Dragons, Daenerys invites the eunuch to stay on as a member of her small council -- but promises that if he crosses her she'll burn him alive. Fair enough. It's almost as if Melisandre's ears started tingling at the mention of burning people as she appears at Dragonstone to give the Targaryen queen some advice. The Red Woman fills Daenerys in on the prophecy of Azor Ahai (you know the savior who has been prophesied to be reborn and save everyone). While everyone assumes the savior is meant to be a male prince, Daenerys' gal pal and translator Missandei explains that the term prince in the prophecy is actually gender neutral. Well, this explains why the red priestess has come to serve Daenerys. After capturing the Queen's attention, Melisandre advises the royal to reach out to Jon Snow, King of the North, as she's certain he has a role to play in the prophecy too. Daenerys' hand Tyrion Lannister gets excited at the idea of forging an alliance with Ned Stark's bastard/secret nephew as they need more allies in Westeros. Daenerys listens to her advisers and sends a raven to Winterfell and invites Snow to "bend the knee." Unsurprisingly, those in Winterfell are nervous to accept the invitation as every time a ruler in the North leaves, they die. At first, Jon is talked out of going by his sister Sansa Stark as she's wary of the mysterious Dragon queen. However, after receiving a raven from his good buddy Samwell Tarly about how there is dragonglass to be found at Dragonstone, the bastard King decides to head South. Now, this understandably disappoints the lords in the North, but they need dragonglass to defeat the zombie White Walker army. Thus, Jon puts his sister in charge -- pleasing Sansa and Petyr Baelish (AKA Littlefinger). Littlefinger tries to have a pow-wow with Snow, but makes things awkward when he professes his love for the King's little sister. In response to Petyr's creepy proposal, Jon shoves the lord against a wall and warns him to stay away from Sansa. Excuse us as we go swoon for a second. Jon then mounts his horse and peaces for Dragonstone. Hopefully, this isn't the last time he sees Winterfell!! Dr. Tarly's In The House Daenerys' loyal sworn sword, Ser Jorah Mormont is currently at the Citadel where Samwell is studying up on dragonglass. Why?? Well, because, the knight is looking for a cure for greyscale. After one grumpy Arch-Maester refuses to hear Tarly out about a radical treatment plan, it appears as though Jorah is doomed. But Sam, being the rule breaker he is, shows up late at night to treat Mormont because he knew the sick knight's father through the Night's Watch. The medical procedure is gross, painful, and uncomfortable to watch (be glad you missed it). Regardless, Tarly finishes the surgery -- yet it's still unclear if the treatment was successful. Arya Has Her Own Game Of Thrones Reunion After running into her old pal Hot Pie, Arya Stark learns that her favorite brother (cousin?) has taken back Winterfell and is now King of the North. This news completely derails the assassin on the rise's plan to murder Queen Cersei Lannister as she decides to head North to reunite with her family. Later in her journey, Arya is surrounded by a pack of wolves led by her long lost direwolf, Nymeria. The young Stark asks her direwolf to accompany her back to Winterfell, but the wolf turns and runs off into the woods. Like Arya, Nymeria has changed a ton over the course of seven seasons. Stark continues on her journey home, but if she makes it, we're not sure she'll be able to stay in one place. She's been through too much. Cersei Lannister, Queen Of Public Relations Amid the news that Daenerys has landed in Westeros, Cersei summons the remaining lords at her disposal and begs them to help her stop the Targaryen's impending army. In order to rally the lords to her side, the Lannister queen brands Daenerys as the mad offspring of crazzzy King Aerys II. Cersei, who is clearly shaken up over the idea of facing dragons, is then comforted by her sidekick Qyburn as he shows her a new weapon he's working on to defeat the dragons. NOOOOO! Back To Dragonstone Feeling antsy to take the Seven Kingdoms, Daenerys has a meeting with her powerful AF squad --including Ellaria Sand, Yara Greyjoy, and Olenna Tyrell. The crew argues about how best to use the dragons and their giant army. While the ladies want to rage fire rain on King's Landing, Tyrion advises that they only uses soldiers from Westeros for the invasion as it'll seem more like a civil war and not like an outside take over. Daenerys agrees with the Imp, as she orders that the Unsullied and Dothraki army will seize Cersei's homeland of Casterly Rock. Whereas the Greyjoys and Ellaria are commanded to lay siege on King's Landing, which will likely starve out Cersei into surrendering. Despite agreeing with the game plan, Olenna tells Daenerys that the lords of Westeros are sheep and will follow whom ever they fear most. The Queen of Thorns quips: "Are you a sheep? No. You're a dragon. Be a dragon." *Slow claps* As for Missandei and Grey Worm, they take their flirtationship to the next level as they share a passionate night together since the Unsullied captain is Casterly Rock bound. It's hot, and that's all we'll say on the matter. The Battle On The Narrow Sea While en route to pick up the Dornish army for a siege on King's Landing, the Greyjoy fleet is discovered by their evil uncle Euron Greyjoy (who has built his own massive armada). The battle is bloody and brutal and some of our favorites die -- including Obara and Nymeria Sand. Ellaria and her daughter Tyene are captured and taken hostage. Well there goes half of the Dornish royal family. Yara does everything in her power to take down her psychotic uncle, but to no avail. After an epic tousle, Euron overpowers Yara and holds a blade to her throat. Theon witnesses this and immediately has a Reek flashback. Yara sheds as single tear as her brother jumps overboard like a coward and hides from the savage armada. Oof. Like we said, a LOT happened. The better news: Season 7's midpoint ended with a kick ass, fire-breathing battle. But the best news: we finally got our mother fucking Stark family reunion, y'all!!!! Related: Game Of Thrones Hackers Threaten To Leak Even More! Sunday's fiery hour of the HBO fantasy hit gave fans almost everything they wanted -- including Arya back at Winterfell, an intimate cave scene that would make Ygritte jealous, and Daenerys finally taking Westeros by Stormborn. Read our recap of Episode 4: The Spoils of War (below)! [Spoils!] The Wolfpack Is Back It's been six long years of hiding out, bad haircuts, and learning how to be an assassin -- but Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) has finally returned to her home in the North. After being held at the gates of Winterfell by two annoying guards who don't believe she's who she says she is (OMG, just let her IN!) a girl has a lukewarm reunion with her big sis Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner). The Stark girls have an intimate catch up -- Sansa's now Lady of the North, Arya's killed dozens of enemies on her list, etc., etc. -- before Sansa shares that another sibling has returned home: Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright). Arya's reunion with Bran The Three Eyed Raven is slightly less awkward than his oh-BTW-I-know-about-that-time-you-got-raped chat with Sansa in last week's episode. He gifts Arya with a sexy new dagger and mentions her list, making Sansa realize he might not be lying about this whole clairvoyant thing after all. The coolest part of Arya's homecoming is when she challenges Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) to some friendly sword combat. After flattering Brienne by pointing out she's the only person at Winterfell who defeated The Hound, Arya shows off the deadly skills she picked up over the past few seasons. Who taught her such badass moves? "No one." (LOL, get it?) Fire And Ice Get Cozy The King in the North is still down south, and things are starting to heat up at Dragonstone. Jon Snow (Kit Harington) gives Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) a tour of the dragonglass caves he's about to mine to make weapons in hopes of defeating the White Walkers. Though, there's another discovery he wants to show the Mother of Dragons: a secret chamber full of petroglyphs drawn by the mystical Children of the Forest. According to the wall art, which features the same symbols the Walkers like to rearrange corpses in, the Children of the Forest fought alongside Man to defeat the common enemy. Jon explains this to Dany, and she swears to join his fight -- as soon as he bends the knee. (Each time she says this sounds more sexual.) Are we allowed to ship this secret aunt-nephew pairing? Because the heat between them could melt the Wall! After getting all hot and bothered in the cave, Dany receives some bad news about her Unsullied army storming Casterly Rock -- Cersei Lannister's (Lena Headey) army wasn't there, but a fleet of enemy Greyjoy ships was. The Lannister army was instead preparing for a siege, stockpiling all the kingdom's resources inside the walls of King's Landing. Realizing that a Dothraki army is useless without food to feed them, Dany impulsively vows to fly her dragons to the Red Keep and send the enemy ablaze. Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) advises against it, so Dany asks Jon his opinion -- which is essentially to cool off and think of another plan. But the advice Dany ends up taking was that of Olenna Tyrell (R.I.P.) a few episodes ago: "Be a dragon." Dracarys Inferno The Lannister army, overseen by Jaime Lannister (Nicolaj Coster-Waldau) and Bronne (Jerome Flynn), transports a wagon caravan containing the spoils of war toward King's Landing. Not fast enough, however, as they suddenly hear the war cry of the Dothraki army closing in. The Lannister men fall into a wall formation, but are caught off guard by another winged enemy -- Drogon flying overhead with Dany, who barbecues the human barrier with the simple command, "Dracarys." The battlefield gets intense, as the wagons -- and many, many soldiers -- go up in flames while the Dothraki take care of the enemy on the ground. Bronn manages to locate Qyburn's giant, dragon-piercing crossbow and fires a shot at Drogon. The wounded dragon plummets to the ground, where Dany struggles to remove the arrow. Seeing a vulnerable Mother of Dragons, Jaime attempts to live up to his "Kingslayer" moniker and charges at her with a spear. Of course, that doesn't end well for him. Drogon protects his mother and hocks up a fire blast right in Jaime's face -- who gets knocked off his horse (by Bronn or Dickon Tarly, we assume) at the last second and safely plunges into the river. The last we see is Jaime sinking into the water with his heavy armor. We're sure he's still alive, but Cersei is not gonna be happy when she finds out her brother/lover got roasted by a dragon. Next week is gonna be lit!!!! [Image via HBO.].....»»
