Heather Graham Happy About Sexual Harassment

Heather Graham has proven that every woman in Hollywood also happens to be an opportunist. According to Heather, her new romantic comedy “Half Magic” couldn’t have hit theaters at a better time. Ever since sexual harassment started to trend most women will pay attention to anything that remotely smells like the shaming of men for their misogynistic ways and alleged sexual misdeeds. And for Heather that means her movie can now use relevance as a selling point because who really wanted to see another romantic comedy. While talking to Jimmy Kimmel Monday night about the the Feb. 23 release that covers “bad dating, harassment and sexism,” she joked, “All this sexual harassment worked out great for me. “Her new movie is based on her previous relationships and negative dating experiences. Graham said the comedy has “a sexual harassment plot”…”I kind of had to combine a lot of different harassment [experiences] into one,” she said. “I feel like some of the guys that are getting on these charges, they’re like, ‘I never did that.’ Do you think they really don’t think they did that?” The RC genre follows the same blueprint every film. We get it, girls fart and can be just as gross as men. Throw in a “hilarious” scene about someone else finding the female protagonist’s personal massager and suddenly you have an empowering chick flick.  If cuckold relationship research is a thing there needs to be a study done that 100% of tampon jokes have never been and never will be funny. Taking advantage of the MeToo sickness that’s spreading throughout Hollywood seems slightly tacky. Very “Rose McGowanish.” But kudos to her for striking while the iron is hot. Maybe this film will breathe new life into the MeToo movement like The Birth of a Nation did way back when. Female supremacist dressed in all black like they were in January lynching the reputation of every man on sight. Rose McGowan is one woman that will not be silenced when it comes to sexual harassment. Sure she has accepted a settlement from Weinstein in the past but now she’s turning her sexual harassment hardships into an E! TV sympathy seeking special. The document will complement her soon-to-release memoir entitled BRAVE. This double whammy will definitely destroy the misogynistic Hollywood we have all come to know and love. But if it doesn’t I’m pretty sure Rose will be able to cash a nice check. Being a victim is more valuable than Bitcoin at the moment. “You are formally invited into my mind and world. I am thrilled to partner with E! to amplify my message of bravery, art, joy and survival,” McGowan said in a statement today. “As I ready my book, BRAVE, I realized I wanted to show how we can heal through art even when being hounded by evil. I want to have a conversation with everyone, and most especially, you, about looking at things differently and seeing beauty everywhere. E!’s tremendous reach and impressive platform allow me to globally communicate the importance of living a BRAVE life.” McGowan is battling sexual harassment after accepting money to stay quiet. That isn’t being courageous, that’s being an opportunist. Rose really wants to be the face of the victimhood franchise at any cost. Her dignity was sold way above value at $100,000 and quitting while you’re ahead isn’t something she’s familiar with. She’s already begun to attack other victims for their lack of dedication to being constantly oppressed. She believes peaceful black dress protests are for pansies. She’s writing the rules for women on how to handle harassment. Just don’t think for a minute her actions are altruistic at all, if you want to find out the rules they’re $14.99 plus tax on Google Play Books and the E! documentary will require a cable subscription. Reese Witherspoon Bravely Reveals She Was Sexually Assaulted By A Director At 16

Reese Witherspoon has become the latest A-lister to open up about sexual harassment and assault in Hollywood. Sadly, the industry vet has had firsthand experience regarding this issue. Sadly, the industry vet has had firsthand experience regarding this issue. As you surely know, countless actresses -- including Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie, Ashley Judd, Rose McGowan, etc. -- have come forward this last week to expose indie movie mogul Harvey Weinstein as a sexual predator. While Miz Witherspoon has not declared herself as one of Harvey's victims, she certainly empathizes with their plight as she's been harassed and/or assaulted several times over the course of her career. Related: Courtney Love Warned Women About Harvey YEARS Ago In fact, while giving a speech at Elle's Women in Hollywood event on Monday, the Oscar winner revealed she was only 16 when a director assaulted her. The blonde powerhouse shared: "This has been a really hard week for women in Hollywood, for women all over the world, and a lot of situations and a lot of industries are forced to remember and relive a lot of ugly truths. I have my own experiences that have come back to me very vividly and I find it really hard to sleep, hard to think, hard to communicate a lot of the feelings that I've been having about anxiety, honest, the guilt for not speaking up earlier." It's just so heartbreaking that so many women in the industry have had such unsavory experiences with men in Tinseltown. The Big Little Lies actress continued: "[I feel] true disgust at the director who assaulted me when I was 16 years old and anger at the agents and the producers who made me feel that silence was a condition of my employment... And I wish that I could tell you that was an isolated incident in my career, but sadly it wasn't. I've had multiple experiences of harassment and sexual assault and I don't speak about them very often." How awful. Nonetheless, the many brave women opening up about their experiences with sexual misconduct has inspired Reese to "speak up loudly." After revealing that she feels "less alone" amid the confessions, Witherspoon concluded: "I feel really, really encouraged that there will be a new normal. For the young women in this room, life is going to be different because we're with you, we have your back and it makes me feel better. It makes me so sad to talk about these issues, but I would be remiss not to." Hear! Hear! Like Reese, we stand with the many victims who've bravely come forward. [Image via FayesVision/WENN.].....»»

Mad Men Creator Matthew Weiner DENIES Sexual Harassment Allegations: "I Was Just Angry A Lot Of The Time"

As we reported, after writer Kater Gordon accused creator Matthew Weiner of asking her to get naked because she owed it to him, Marti Noxon -- another writer on the AMC show -- came out in support of Gordon. On Friday, while talking to Orange is the New Black creator Jenji Kohan at Chevalier's Books in Los Angeles, CA, the 52-year-old refutes the claims against him. Video: Ben Affleck Faces Sexual Misconduct Questions On The Late Show The Emmy winner said: "The allegation is not true." Despite his denial, Weiner believes its important that society is having a conservation about the topic of sexual harassment. "For like 92 hours of the show, we wanted people to be having this conversation. It's great that we're having it. It's a very serious issue. It's great that we're having this conversation." As to why Gordon would come forward against him: "I don't want to speak to someone else's character, but I will say this: I have hired dozens of women over the years and dozens of people. I am a demanding boss. Especially in the early years, it was very hard to do it. I had a lot of stress and – you know this – it's very lonely. When I think back on it, if I had to do it differently, letting people go and being mad about having to rewrite everything – I was just angry a lot of the time." In regards to him firing her: "The person I am now would definitely do it in a different way." [Image via WENN.].....»»

Gretchen Carlson Made It A Point To Share Donald Trump"s Access Hollywood Tape With Her Kids!

As part of the press tour for BE FIERCE: Stop Harassment and Take Your Power Back, the former Fox News host sat down with Nancy Armstrong to discuss her experiences with sexual misconduct and even revealed how she informed her children about Donald Trump's pussy grabbing scandal. Related: All 45 Women Who Have Accused Harvey Weinstein So Far In fact, Carlson openly admitted that she showed her 12 and 14 year old the Trumpster's infamous Access Hollywood tape. She explained: "When the Access Hollywood tape came out with now-President Trump, I played it for my children... I wanted them to see how not to treat human beings. I wanted then to know that human decency, in my mind, supersedes any political policy." As it should!! In case you forgot, in footage from an Access Hollywood taping in 2005, the President is heard bragging about how felt entitled to "grab" women "by the pussy." We aren't shocked that Gretchen made a point to show the tape to her kids as she became the face of the anti-sexual harassment movement following her 2016 lawsuit against Fox News chief Roger Ailes. The suit resulted in Ailes' ousting from the conservative network. In regards to her own experiences with sexual harassment, Gretchen had a few choice words for Human Resources departments everywhere: "I actually believe reporting sexual harassment should go to a different part of the company. If the harasser is a boss then just forget it. You, as the employee, have no chance." Fair point. The 51-year-old went on to reference two additional instances of sexual assault, both experienced while she was serving as Miss America in 1989. On why she declined to name the individuals involved, the author noted: "It doesn't really matter... Maybe at some point I'll decide to make them [public]. It's actually a legal issue about why I wouldn't and I've had my fair share of lawyer advice over the last 15 months. So it's not because I'm not speaking up about it, it's more of a concern from a legal point of view." That all makes sense! The women are stepping forward after writer Audrey Wauchope tweeted about harassment from Mark on the show’s set, without publicly naming him. In her tweets, she accused Mark of inappropriate touching and comments and even showing off photos of his actress girlfriend without clothing. In a statement of support, Hilarie, Sophia and Bethany Joy Lenz say the cast and crew were treated in ways that were “traumatizing” and “downright illegal” and left many feeling manipulated “psychologically and emotionally.” “More than one of us is still in treatment for post-traumatic stress. Many of us were put in uncomfortable positions and had to swiftly learn to fight back, sometimes physically, because it was made clear to us that the supervisors in the room were not the protectors they were supposed to be,” they wrote. Click inside to read the entire statement… To Whom It May Concern, All of the female cast members of One Tree Hill have chosen this forum to stand together in support of Audrey Wauchope and one another. To use terminology that has become familiar as thesystemic reality of sexual harassment and assault has come more and more to light, Mark Schwahn’s behavior over the duration of the filming of One Tree Hill was something of an “open secret.” Many of us were, to varying degrees, manipulated psychologically and emotionally. More than one of us is still in treatment for post-traumatic stress. Many of us were put in uncomfortable positions and had to swiftly learn to fight back, sometimes physically, because it was made clear to us that the supervisors in the room were not the protectors they were supposed to be. Many of us were spoken to in ways that ran the spectrum from deeply upsetting, to traumatizing, to downright illegal. And a few of us were put in positions where we felt physically unsafe. More than one woman on our show had her career trajectory threatened. The through line in all of this was, and still is, our unwavering support of and faith in one another. We confided in each other. We set up safe spaces to talk about his behavior and how to handle it. To warn new women who joined our ranks. We understood that a lot of it was orchestrated in ways that kept it out of sight for the studio back home. We also understood that no one was fully unaware. The lack of action that has been routine, the turning of the other cheek, is intolerable. We collectively want to echo the calls of women everywhere that vehemently demand change, in all industries. Many of us were told, during filming, that coming forward to talk about this culture would result in our show being canceled and hundreds of lovely, qualified, hard-working, and talented people losing their jobs. This is not an appropriate amount of pressure to put on young girls. Many of us since have stayed silent publicly but had very open channels of communication in our friend group and in our industry, because we want Tree Hill to remain the place “where everything’s better and everything’s safe” for our fans; some of whom have said that the show quite literally saved their lives. But the reality is, no space is safe when it has an underlying and infectious cancer. We have worked at taking our power back, making the conventions our own, and relishing in the good memories. But there is more work to be done. We are all deeply grateful for Audrey’s courage. For one another. And for every male cast mate and crew member who has reached out to our group of women to offer their support these last few days. They echo the greater rallying cry that must lead us to change: Believe Women. We are all in this together. With Love and Courage, The Cast, Sophia Bush, Hilarie Burton, Bethany Joy Lenz, Danneel Harris, Michaela McManus, Kate Voegele, Daphne Zuniga, India de Beaufort, Bevin Prince, Jana Kramer, Shantel Van Santen, and Allison Munn And Brave Crew, Audrey Wauchope, Rachel Specter, Jane Beck, Tarin Squillante, Cristy Koebley, JoJo Stephens And All the rest of the Women We Worked With Who Are Finding Their Voices as We Speak.....»»

With more and more celebs sharing their own horrifying experiences with the controversial producer, it's opening up a very overdue discussion in the industry. And Jamie Lee Curtis is doing so by slamming the argument that women are "asking for it," one Donna Karan recently given voice once again in defense of the movie mogul. Related: Kate Beckinsale Accuses Harvey Of Hitting On Her When She Was 17 The designer has since apologized, but the actress isn't here for it! In an op-ed piece published on Huffington Post, the star explained her disappointment with Donna -- all without naming her name: "I awoke to a statement, from an unlikely voice, that the women in question were perhaps 'asking for it.' Really? Is this how we have evolved? Is this what the women's movement, feminism and, more recently, the women's march has yielded? A fellow woman, one who makes her living dressing famous women in tight, sexy dresses and one who built her empire to do her good works all over the world, would throw these brave women under the bus in a weird, mean girl version of slut shaming?" Jamie continued, revealing she has been victim to sexual harassment at work: "I, too, have been subjected to my own private, personal versions of sexual harassment on the job. Did I ask for it? No. What I simply asked for was a job, and what came with it was sexual harassment." Furthering her point, she added: "What I believe we are all asking for in these instances, is a chance to show our talent, our humanity, a chance to express ourselves and our art and perhaps, be a part of a film that can truly create change." Using Prince's drug overdose as an example, the Scream Queens actress wondered if a "very famous person" had to die to affect change, like it did with opioid laws. When it comes to Harvey and sexual harassment though, she mused if there would be an end: "Perhaps this grotesque power play to 'get some' by this brutish thug of a man and the attempts by him, his lawyer, his board and famous friends to, once again, keep it under wraps and blame the victim will fail. Perhaps the truth will out other sexual harassment, be it from a governor or a president or a presidential candidate or studio head or movie star or executive or anyone else complicit in this billionaire boys club bullshit that will come to an inglorious end. To quote the great Helen Reddy, 'I am woman hear me roar, in numbers too big to ignore.'" Preach! Let's hope more and more stars continue to speak out! In an open letter published on Friday (March 2), the stars come together to support survivors of harassment and abuse and demand more accountability from men. PHOTOS: Check out the latest pics of David Arquette The goal of the #AskMoreOfHim campaign, inspired by the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, is to challenge men to use their privilege and platforms for good. “We applaud the courage and pledge our support to the courageous women — and men, and gender non-conforming individuals — who have come forward to recount their experiences of harassment, abuse and violence at the hands of men in our country. It is never easy for someone who’s been harassed or bullied to speak up, especially when the abuse is sexual,” the letter reads. See the full letter below, via The Hollywood Reporter. We applaud the courage and pledge our support to the courageous women — and men, and gender non-conforming individuals — who have come forward to recount their experiences of harassment, abuse and violence at the hands of men in our country. It is never easy for someone who’s been harassed or bullied to speak up, especially when the abuse is sexual. These people are our colleagues and friends. They are fellow artists and craftspeople. They are also our partners, siblings, parents and children. We are in awe of their strength and commitment to speaking truth to power. But our awe is not enough. As men, we have a special responsibility to prevent abuse from happening in the first place. After all, the vast majority of sexual harassment, abuse, and violence is perpetrated by men, whether in Hollywood or not. And in entertainment — like many industries — men continue to hold most of the decision-making power. Therefore, one of the most powerful things that men can and must do is make it clear to other men — including their friends, colleagues, and co-workers — that sexual harassment and abuse are never acceptable. This goes for everything from sexist and degrading comments, right up to domestic violence and sexual assault. Some may question our motives for signing this statement and we aim to counteract their skepticism by being painfully honest. Men are imperfect. We are imperfect. And many men, including perhaps some of us, may have enabled the bad behavior of others or acted in ways we now regret. Nonetheless, we believe that men must speak out against sexism, even as we engage in our own process of critical self-reflection, personal growth and accountability. So consider this our pledge to support survivors, condemn sexism wherever we see it and hold ourselves and others accountable. As advocates, actors, writers, producers, and directors, we hope that our actions will inspire other men to join us. Until now, only a small number of them have been actively engaged in this effort. Former Bachelor Producer Files Sexual Harassment Complaint Against Warner Brothers & Other Producers

Amid all of the sexual harassment allegations coming to light, former producer for the ABC dating series, Becky Steenhoek, has come forward with a lawsuit against Warner Brothers and several of the show's producers on Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court. The court docs name Caitlin Stapleton, Bennett Graebner, Elan Gale, Peter Scalettar, Jacqueline Naz Perez, in addition to creator Mike Fleiss' production company NZK Productions. According to Steenhoek, she was repeatedly asked very intimate questions about her sex life, which she says were made to make her feel uncomfortable during her time on JoJo Fletcher's season in 2016. Related: Corinne Olympios Is Open To Giving Nick Viall A Second Chance She says the questions often included: "Is your vagina shaved?," "Have you ever fondled [testicles] before?," and "Have you ever sat under a shower faucet or touched yourself to masturbate?" ... "How often do you masturbate?," "Do you own sex toys/dildos?," "Have you ever had anal sex?," "Do you enjoy giving hand jobs?," "Is your vagina shaved?," "Do you have a landing strip?" "Has a man ever got your 'taco' talking?" So graphic! The 31-year-old -- who has since moved back to Texas -- told the LA Times that she was "raised in a Christian household" and the prodding was meant to embarrass her: "You could visibly tell it was very uncomfortable to me to witness, just because they did make comments like, 'Oh, Becky's blushing,' or 'Her ears are probably burning.' It was a bit of a theme that carried on throughout the season ... it was a fun time for them to see me get embarrassed." She even went to cast producer Stapleton, who she says told her at the time: "She just told me, 'Listen, this is just how it is. These are middle-aged white men. This is locker-room talk. This is their way of showing that they're trying to bond with you.'" After her complaint to Stapleton, Steenhoek says she began being excluded from meetings and given less responsibility until she was ultimately fired. When she asked producer Bennett Graebner the reason for her termination, he allegedly told her she was not being enough of a "bitch": "When I was hired for the job, the reason they told me I was being hired because I did have the morals and they felt I was a good person. And then here I am being fired because of that reason." She is suing for damages for sexual harassment and hostile work environment, sex discrimination, retaliation, failure to prevent harassment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful termination. Of the entire ordeal, Becky said: "It tainted my whole view of the industry. I wasn't protected. When we sign our paperwork, we're given a sexual harassment policy that says ‘any unwanted — whether it's verbal or physical — sexual advances that makes the person feel uncomfortable and is unwelcome, that you're supposed to report that and it's not allowed.' I think it's an industry-wide problem — these executives are untouchable. If you report it, you get retaliated against, you get fired because then you're not a team player. If you don't report it, then it was essentially me not being me. I would have had to sacrifice my values and my morals for something I didn't think was right, and I'm not gonna do that." Warner Bros. has responded in a statement, saying: "We take all allegations of workplace harassment very seriously. These allegations were brought to our attention and were thoroughly investigated earlier this year. Our findings did not support the plaintiff's characterization of the events claimed to have taken place, which is why we are disappointed by the filing of this lawsuit." We'll keep you posted as we learn more. [Image via Facebook.].....»»

He also claimed that no woman ever went to HR or complained about his behavior. Related: Megyn Rips Into Mayim Bialik & Donna Karan For Victim Blaming! Well, Kelly is calling bullshit on O'Reilly's rebuttal -- because she's saying SHE complained about the anchor's behavior towards women to the co-presidents of the network! The Megyn Kelly Today host, who worked at Fox News from 2004 until January this year, said she wrote an email to co-presidents Bill Shine and Jack Abernethy in November 2016 about O'Reilly's treatment of women. That day, Kelly's memoir Settle for More had been released, which included a chapter in which Kelly accuses former network CEO Roger Ailes of sexually harassing her. When asked about the book in an interview with CBS News, O'Reilly got defensive and said he wasn't interested in "basically litigating something that is finished that makes my network look bad." Video: Howard Stern Rips Into Harvey Weinstein & Other 'Freaks'! Well, that frustrating TV appearance set Kelly off, and prompted her to complain to Shine and Abernethy about the dangers of O'Reilly's "attitude of shaming women into shutting the hell up about harassment." Kelly said the network heads informed her they would "deal with it" -- which apparently meant letting O'Reilly go on the air later that night and "attack the company's harassment victims yet again." Wow. No wonder she was desperate to GTFO of that place! Watch the clips (below) to hear Kelly's sharp words to her former network -- and watch her sit down with former Fox News colleague Juliet Huddy, who settled a claim of sexual harassment against O'Reilly last year. In fact, the comedienne was forced to fire two staffers, "one background actor and one sound guy," over sexual harassment reasons. When questioned about her decision, the funny woman stood her ground. Per Ilana, she clapped back: "I was asked, ‘Are you sure?' Hm. Okay yeah lemme think a sec — YEAH I'M FUCKING SURE. cuz getting sexually harassed seems to be a constant, but having the opportunity to do something about it is rare." Sadly, those incidents weren't the only ones Glazer faced as she also had to file a complaint against a "creepyass" doctor last year. Rose McGowan pioneered the way and showed women that you can turn a settlement into sympathy, and then that sympathy into a TV Show/book deal. Now McGowan is forecasted to be overtaken by newest sexual harassment victim on the block Miro Sorvino. Sorvino claims that her denial of a few random reach arounds suggested by the always anonymous producer shut the door on opportunities and somewhat killed her career. But since the shitshow known as everybody hates Harvey aired she was able to source a second wind in sympathy. Outing Weinstein as the man who told her to open her legs if she wanted to keep a job is now opening doors for her. Anyone else smell a sexual harassment feature film coming soon? Miro: “But I have to say the general atmosphere since those allegations came out, those revelations, there seems to be a lot of goodwill towards me in the entertainment business and I’ve been getting offers,” Miro says she has a slew of projects lined up. At 50-years-old I couldn’t imagine how many of those roles actually involve not being someone’s grandmother. Her first series slated to release, Condor, she will be playing a retired investigator. How great can she be for the part if she wasn’t able to figure out Harvey was the one to touch her. It was a play-by-play open and shut case but she still dropped the ball on that one. The chance of Rose McGowan reloaded having a better career in the second half of her life is very slim. On Wednesday, the journalist stopped by CBS This Morning to discuss her former co-anchor Matt Lauer, the #MeToo movement, and her new PBS show We'll Meet Again. Related: Ann Curry 'Isn't Relishing' In Matt Lauer's Scandal On Tuesday, the 61-year-old opened up to People about her infamous 2012 exit from Today, which she says, "hurt like hell." Reportedly, she was axed due to her lack of chemistry with Lauer, who was eventually fired from NBC News in November 2017 for allegations of "inappropriate sexual behavior." In her first TV interview since leaving NBC in 2015, she told CBS that she was not "surprised by the allegations" against Lauer. In regards to the recent firings of Lauer and Charlie Rose, Ann noted: "We clearly are waking up to a reality and injustice that has been occurring for sometime. I think it will continue to occur until the glass ceiling is finally broken." Snap! Snap! When further pressed by Gayle King to address specific accusations she may've heard, Curry side stepped from answering in order to avoid hurting those involved. Curry added: "I'm trying not to hurt people. I know what it's like to be publicly humiliated, I never did anything wrong to be publicly humiliated, and I don't want to cause that kind of pain to someone else. But I can say, because you're asking me a very direct question... I can say that, I'd be surprised if many women did not understand that there was a climate of verbal harassment that existed. I think it'd be surprising if someone said they didn't see that." .@AnnCurry says she is "not surprised" about the allegations against former "TODAY" co-host Matt Lauer. #AnnCurryThisMorning pic.twitter.com/2nPl3By1tS — CBS This Morning ❄️ (@CBSThisMorning) January 17, 2018 Hmmm, sounds like someone is taking shots at her former Today peers. Regardless, Ann is vehement that she's no longer salty about her ousting from the Today show. She continued: "I don't know what was all behind it. I do know that it hurt like hell. It wasn't a fun moment. I've learned a great deal about myself. I've really, at this point, let it go." "I don’t know what was all behind it. I do know that it hurt like hell. It wasn’t a fun moment. Ann further addressed sexual harassment in the workplace, which has fueled the revolutionary #MeToo and Time's Up movements, as she revealed: "I don't know a single woman who has not endured some form of sexual harassment and many women have endured workplace sexual harassment. It's happened to me in multiple jobs. It is a way of sidelining women." The industry vet applauded: "The idea that women are involved speaking to women is actually an overdue idea. So absolutely, I think it's a good idea." We concur.
