Three women did not get roses last night on The Bachelor -- including Jacqueline, Seinne, and Bekah M. -- who will unfortunately not get the opportunity to bring Arie Luyendyk Jr. home to meet their families. Arie took both Becca K. and Lauren B. on individual one-on-one dates, during which he told both he was falling in love with them. His connection with Becca seems pretty obvious, but people are left confused by his relationship with Lauren. Regardless, he tells Lauren he's "falling so deeply in love with you," and refers to her family as his future family. Serious business. Related: Rachel Lindsay Blames Trump For Nick Viall Dumping Her On the third one-on-one, Arie failed to find a deep emotional connection with Seinne after the two spent the day being grilled by a local Italian family. She let him know that if he had opened up to her, maybe they would have progressed further. Honestly, she's too good for him anyway. Jacqueline left on her own accord after having "swirling doubts" about her relationship with Arie. Even though she was "outrageously attracted" to him, at the end of the day she wasn't ready to introduce him to her family. Fair enough. Finally, Arie took Tia, Kendall, and Bekah M. on a three-on-one date, where Tia's claws came out and she told Arie that the 22-year-old Bekah wasn't ready for serious commitment. Turns on the southern belle has a dark side... Ultimately Arie eliminated Bekah, but we think she's doing just fine as she's making the press rounds -- and even admitted she wished Peter Kraus had been ABC's leading man. The Bachelor Recap: Arie Luyendyk Jr. Eliminates A Front Runner After Heading To The Final Four Contestants" Hometowns

A twist! Last night on The Bachelor, Arie Luyendyk Jr. prepared to meet the families of the final four contestants during a round of hometown dates. Last night on The Bachelor, Arie Luyendyk Jr. prepared to meet the families of the final four contestants during a round of hometown dates. On a scale of 1 to having a complete meltdown, he was at about an 8 -- his words, not ours! That's also how we felt watching him and Kendall play with dead animals during their visit to a taxidermy shop in her hometown of El Lay. Related: Bachelor/ette Couples That Have ACTUALLY Made It! Although Arie called their activity of stretching limp rat skin over a wooden form "some Silence Of The Lambs stuff," Kendall had a much more romantic view: "In a way, taxidermy is like a perfect relationship, because it's something that's going to last forever." Wow. A thought. Later on the date, Arie met Kendall's mom, dad, twin sister Kylie (yes, they are Kendall and Kylie), and her younger brother. Honestly, the conversation between Kendall and Kylie is one of the most self-aware discussions we've seen on this show. There's a sentence we thought we'd never say. For the second hometown, Arie heads to Weiner, Arkansas to meet Raven Tia's fam. The southern belle picks an activity Arie will love: racing cars at Crowley's Ridge Raceway. That evening, the family gives ABC's leading man a warm welcome (after Tia's brother questions his player ways) and they cheers with cocktail wieners/pigs in a blanket! Before Arie heads out to meet his next lady, Tia lets him know she's "in love" and not just "falling in love." Noted. Now Arie is in Minnesota, where he's meeting Becca's family, including her mom and Uncle Gary, who became like a second father to her after her father passed away. He ultimately seems to get a stamp of approval (kinda), after her mom says she would trust whatever decision Becca makes. Finally, Arie goes to Virginia Beach to meet Lauren's extremely conservative family -- and it's hella awkward! Lauren's dad Dave makes Arie sweat (literally). Dave threatens to "kill" Arie if he ever hurts Lauren, but ultimately says he trusts her decision in the end. Heading into the Rose Ceremony back at the Bachelor mansion, Arie seems super unsure about who he is going to pick. In fact, he pulls Kendall aside for one last chat before making a final decision moments later. He ultimately decides to send Tia home after feeling like there's just "something missing." Cue her crying in the limo. Don't worry, girl. There's always Paradise. Next week, we have Women Tell All (yassss) on Sunday before a new episode with the final three on Monday. Oh, yeah and the Winter Games Tuesday and Thursday this week. Are y'all getting enough of this franchise yet??? [Image via ABC.].....»»

Arie Luyendyk Jr. Takes One Contestant Home To Meet The Family As Feuds Brew Inside The Mansion — Full Bachelor Recap HERE!

Who knew Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s season of The Bachelor was going to offer some of the best reality TV moments -- in just the second ep! So much drama already! Instead of kicking off his journey with the usual group date, the former race-car driver decided to whisk Becca K. away (on a motorcycle, no less) for a day of being styled by Rachel Zoe in Malibu. Even though they hadn't spent much time together, Arie gifted Becca several of Zoe's designs, a pair of Christian Louboutin heels, and jewelry from Neil Lane! Um, yes please. Later in the evening, Becca wore one of her new outfits for dinner, where she opened up about losing her father to brain cancer -- something that brought her closer to the rest of her family. Arie gave her a rose after realizing there's obviously a connection here. We don't hate it. Related: Get Ready For The Bachelor Winter Games! His is second one-on-one date, Arie decided to take Krystal home to Scottsdale, Arizona to not only get an inside look at his day-to-day life (and also the Pizza Hut), but to meet his parents, brother, and sister-in-law! On the first date! Arie appreciated that Krystal opened up about having a pretty tough upbringing, and then the two danced the night away to Connor Duermit. More on Krystal later. Next up was the group date with 15 women. Fif-teen. Because we can't get enough car references this season already, Arie had the contestants (Maquel, Marikh, Tia, Valerie, Annaliese, Lauren G., Kendall, Bekah M., Jenny, Seinne, Jenna, Caroline, Brittany, Bibiana ,and Chelsea) participate in a demolition derby where they basically just crashed their cars into each other repeatedly until the last woman standing. Annaliese was triggered by a traumatic bumper car experience in her childhood... which most of the women found annoying because Arie was her shoulder to cry on. Classic move. Seinne ended up winning the trophy, and the rose, and she's already one of our favorites. Highly-educated, well-traveled, humble, and gorgeous! She actually might be way too good for Arie, who even admitted: "I barely graduated high school and worked at Pizza Hut." It's important to note here Bibiana was already starting to have a meltdown on the group date for not getting any alone time with the leading man. Case in point: she stormed off without letting the cameras follow her. Now for the rose ceremony. This is where things get really good. Krystal (the breathy talker who already has a rose from her one-on-one) interrupted other women still vying for a rose not once, but TWICE. And she really set herself up by cutting off the already-heated Bibiana during her chance to talk to Arie. To make matters worse, after Krystal spoke with Arie for a second time, she went and sat right next to Bibiana who went OFF saying basically everything that everyone else in the house was thinking. Bibiana not-so-kindly let Krystal know she didn't appreciate her "fake" tone and that she was done with her. Please, ABC, for the love of God, keep Bibiana around just for interactions like this. Ultimately, Arie decided to send home Jenny, Valerie, and Lauren G. Jenny skipped saying goodbye to Arie, and when he went after her to console her, she said: "I'm not sad about you. I'm sad about leaving my new friends." Y'all. Hahaha. What she meant was: "I'm not sad about you. I'm sad about not making it long enough to get a Fab Fit Fun box." So good. Tune in next week Monday at 8 p.m. on ABC for hopefully more trash entertainment like this! [Image via ABC.].....»»

On Monday night's episode of The Bachelor, Arie Luyendyk Jr. and the remaining contestants jetted off to Paris where ultimately three women were sent home after two one-on-one dates, an awkward AF two-on-one date, and a Moulin Rouge group date. Paris is for wannabe lovers! First up was Lauren B.'s chance to get some alone time with ABC's leading man. Nothing much to report here considering Lauren didn't speak practically the entire time. Arie, desperate for her to like him, started word vomiting and ended up telling her his ex-girlfriend suffered a miscarriage. Related: Arie Jokes About Bekah Martinez's Missing Persons Mix Up! Arie ends up giving Lauren the rose, which we're still baffled by considering that was the most painful "interaction" to watch. On the group date, Arie takes Becca K., Seinne, Bekah M., Tia, Chelsea, and Jenna to the Moulin Rouge, where they dance around in thongs -- something Arie insists is "definitely for the women"... Mmhmm. Bekah M. ends up getting the group date rose, which means she got to perform on stage with Arie after the cocktail party. Cue: jealousy from all the other women. For the main attraction -- AKA the two-on-one date with Krystal and Kendall -- the season's villain desperately tried to get back in Arie's good graces. She does this by throwing Kendall under the bus (classic), but Kenny doesn't give in. When they go low, we go high!!! Kendall ends up getting the rose, which means Krystal is going to haunt Arie forever home. Bless. On the final one-on-one, Arie takes Jacqueline shopping after his vintage car breaks down in the parking lot. He admits he's been "intimidated" by her because he thinks she's too smart for him -- to which she responds: "Why don't you think you would gravitate towards somebody intelligent?" Burn. After discussing (and not really agreeing) on plans for the future, Jacqueline gets the rose. During the rose ceremony, Arie sends Chelsea and Jenna home -- and just like that, they're off to Tuscany! Did U like this episode?? SOUND OFF in the comments (below)!! [Image via ABC.].....»»

One Contestant Is Playing Arie Luyendyk Jr. "Like A Fiddle" While Another Woman Shocks The Bachelor With Her Real Age — Recap HERE!

Another week, another episode of The Bachelor. Arie Luyendyk Jr. and the remaining ladies vying for his heart packed their bags and travel to South Lake Tahoe, Nevada for two one-on-dates and one group date. This was the first episode of the season where we truly wondered if the 36-year-old leading man can carry the entire [...] Another week, another episode of The Bachelor. Arie Luyendyk Jr. and the remaining ladies vying for his heart packed their bags and travel to South Lake Tahoe, Nevada for two one-on-dates and one group date. This was the first episode of the season where we truly wondered if the 36-year-old leading man can carry the entire season once all the crazies are gone -- but we'll let time be the judge of that. First up was Sienne's one-on-one date. The two went parasailing (as the contestants watched via binoculars) before having a dinner later that evening. To be completely honest, the well-traveled Yale graduate is way too good for Arie and 100% too good for reality TV. We said it. Related: January Jones Is Reportedly Dating Nick Viall! Sienne carried the entire conversation like the queen she is, and we couldn't tell if Arie was into it or intimidated... but he was QUIET. Anyway, he ended up giving her the rose after she admitted that she was skeptical of the process because "you don't see love stories with girls that look like me." Sienne for Bachelorette!!! Too soon? The next day, Chelsea, Krystal, Becca K., Marikh, Ashley, Jacqueline, Jenna, Tia, Kendall, Lauren, Brittany, and Caroline were gifted the opportunity to go eat bugs and drink urine in the woods with Arie. Yippee. They got survivalist tips from a retired Green Beret Combat Commander in the U.S. Army Special Forces before they split into three groups and somehow found their way to a hot springs. Classic Bachelor move. While in the hot spring, Arie puts his arm around Krystal -- who naturally reads wayyy too much into the situation. Speaking of Krystal, she spent the entire day in interviews talking shit about the other women. As you can see her insecurities come to the forefront, she wonders aloud: "I'm not sure what I'm going to say [to Arie]. But whatever I do, I have a feeling it's going to be perfect." Later on the group date, Krystal confronts Tia and Caroline about... we're still not really sure... and you can see the women in the house are starting to lose their patience with her. Tia ends up getting the group date rose after a mini-breakdown about how hard this process is. Works every time. The last one-on-one date went to Bekah M. The two went horseback riding before making out a ton in a hot tub. You can tell there's an obvious physical connection, and later at dinner Arie stumbled around trying to figure out if she's ready for something more. Cue: Bekah revealing her age. She's 22. He's 36. Upon hearing the news, Arie can't hide is concern that she may not be in the place to settle down, telling her: "I'm 36 — things have just slowed down so much for me. I enjoy waking up with the sun, which I never enjoyed five years ago. I'm in a different place than I was in my late 20s — so my fear with you is that you might be where I was in my 20s. I think it's a valid fear." He later said in an interview: "Twenty-two years old is so damn young. I'm just thinking of all the problems that could come up. I could see myself falling in love with her, but I also don't want to get through this whole thing, be at the end, and then afterwards have her realize, ‘I'm not really ready for marriage.' At 22, does she really know? I think we might be too far apart. I just want to settle down, I want to have a family. I want to share that with somebody. I'm not here for a 22-year-old girlfriend. I'm here to find a wife. Now that I know that she's 22, everything is flipped upside down, and I don't know what to do." Regardless of all these doubts, he gives her the rose anyway. Dun dun dun. There wasn't a rose ceremony last night, but Krystal did manage to annoy everyone one last time by pulling Arie aside for a pointless chat right before he started calling names. Insecurities are a bitch. Anyway, he sent Caroline and Brittany packing, leaving 12 women left in the house. Stay tuned next to week to see if we have to watch anymore of Krystal! THIS Is Why Peter Kraus Is Not The Next Bachelor!

Say goodbye to the gap tooth, ladies! As we reported, on Thursday morning, GMA broke the news that the next Bachelor is Bachelorette season 8 runner-up Arie Luyendyk Jr.! As we reported, on Thursday morning, GMA broke the news that the next Bachelor is Bachelorette season 8 runner-up Arie Luyendyk Jr.! After the shocking announcement, fans were puzzled as to why Bachelorette season 13 runner-up and fan favorite Peter Kraus wasn't chosen. Related: Who Is The New Bachelor, Arie Luyendyk Jr.? According to ET Online, the silver-haired hunk was in the running, but things changed at the last minute. Last Thursday, GMA tweeted they were going to reveal the next Bachelor "tomorrow." Minutes later, the tweet was deleted. As seen here: According to an insider, in the past week, the business owner was on "lockdown" which means he was in the final stages of negotiations. "Peter had been on lockdown for the past week or so, even friends couldn't get a hold of him." But on Wednesday, hours before the actual reveal, a source said: "It's not looking good for Peter [to be the Bachelor] right now." The insider says Kraus accepted the role, but then wanted more out of ABC. After that, the network "lost interest" and went with Arie. While fans are disappointed with the ultimate decision, Rachel Lindsay's ex is "doing fine." "Being the Bachelor wasn't something he was building his whole world around... The major desire wasn't there for him... Peter wasn't in this for fame or fortune... He wouldn't have been the Bachelor just for a platform, and his stance hadn't really changed when it came to an engagement." Now that Luyendyk is confirmed, production is eagerly working on the next season. "Producers feel like Peter was a great guy, but Arie is really genuine too. Now the focus is on casting the women... Casting is still underway, and now women know it's Arie, so they can really decide for themselves if they want to pursue him." Late Thursday, Peter posted a touching message on Instagram expressing his gratitude toward ABC and the Bachelor franchise for showing him "glimpses of a life I never once dreamed that I could have." Read his full post (below)! #tbt to the most incredible journey of this life time that has now officially come to an end today. As I sit here writing this, I struggle to hold back the tears as I am overcome with emotion one last time. First and foremost.. @therachlindsay , there are so very many things that I've wished I could say to you since the day we parted ways in Spain, but for everyone's sake, I'll keep it short... You gave me a chance and all that I can say is thank you. I have a heart filled with love for you now and always and wish you nothing but the best in your life and love ahead. ABC, you saw something in me, but something held me back. You treated me with such love and kindness and showed me glimpses of a life I never once dreamed that I could have. I will be forever humbled and grateful and will always look back at these last 6 months with an ear to ear smile, knowing that this has truly been a very special life indeed. Upon leaving the @bacheloretteabc I was asked, "what did you learn about yourself during this process?" And at the time I naively said "nothing that I can think of." Now... looking back... I realize I learned one of the single greatest teachings of my life; When you let uncertainty or fear guide your decisions, you risk missing out on what could potentially be the greatest opportunity of a life time. So live dangerously, live without the fear of the unknown, and continue to live and love with a heart that is truly open to anything. #thankyou #lovealwaysA post shared by Peter J Kraus (@peterkrauswi) on Sep 7, 2017 at 2:08pm PDT [Image via Peter Krause/Instagram.].....»»

On Monday, ABC rang in the new year by premiering Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s season of The Bachelor -- and even though we're still not sure that he was the better pick than Peter Kraus, the night did bring some noteworthy moments! The two-hour episode kicked off with a segment reminding viewers who Arie is: a race-car driver/realtor who was dubbed the "kissing bandit" on Emily Maynard's season of The Bachelorette five years ago. Now, he has a head full of salt and pepper hair and is ready to ~find love~. Shortly after, we get intro packages to a handful of the women -- which felt pretty boring considering most of them work in real estate and don't seem to have any knowledge of Arie other than the fact that he's 36 years old, so he must be ready for love. Related: Chris Harrison Says Contestants 'Fell Very, Very Quickly' For Arie! We also got to see Sean and Catherine Lowe, who returned to our screens with their young son Samuel to give their pal some advice before meeting the women. Single mom Chelsea became an immediate villain after she was shown talking shit about all the other women behind their backs. But don't worry, she's totally not "rude" or "competitive by nature." Whatever she was doing (AKA pulling Arie aside twice before some women got to talk to him once) worked because she got the highly-coveted First Impression rose. Here are a few other highlights from the first night (below)! -- There are no less than FOUR Laurens. Last initials not important yet. -- Tia is friends with Bachelor alum, Raven Gates, with whom she shares the same Arkansas accent. -- Krystal from San Diego is possibly sedated. -- Bekah M.'s age isn't listed for some reason by her name, but she appears to be 22 after further investigation. She is also the first short-haired contestant. Rock that pixie, bb! -- Becca K. scored some points by having Arie get down on one knee during her introduction. In it to win it! -- Brittany T. got the first peck after a mini race, but Chelsea swooped in for the first real make out sesh. -- By the end of the night, Arie got 29 women down to 21 sending Amber, Jessica, Brittane J., Ali, Bri, Lauren J., Nysha, and Olivia home. You can catch the next episode of The Bachelor on ABC Mondays at 8 p.m. EST. Did U watch the premiere?? Let us know your thoughts in the comments (below)!! [Image via ABC.].....»»

Chris Harrison Says Bachelor Contestants "Fell Very, Very Quickly" For Arie Luyendyk Jr.!

Sounds like it won't be difficult for Arie Luyendyk Jr. to find love on this season of The Bachelor! As you know, the "kissing bandit" will be back in full force on Monday, January 1 -- but in the meantime, host Chris Harrison is dishing up what we can expect while watching the former race-car driver's quest. Related: Corinne Olympios Is Off The Market The longtime TV personality told EW it didn't take long at all for the women to ~fall~ for the leading man: "I'm happy for the people who knew and loved Arie, but then there's those that maybe they're a little younger or they didn't see the show and I'm actually more excited for them to get to know Arie. I'm excited for people to get to know Arie for the first time because he's a great guy. He's dynamic and yeah, he is a good kisser and he makes these women feel things very quickly. They fell for him very very quickly." As for the contestants themselves, Chris couldn't have said nicer things (as expected): "It's an incredible group of women — highly educated, very professional and fun. Arie connected with them incredibly well; I connected with this group really well. It was really a good, dynamic group and that's not to say that we're not going to have our moments, our drama and the competition and all that, but it really was a very good group. He was very blown away on night one after meeting everybody." And even though Bachelor Nation was initially pretty skeptical about this pick for Bachelor (miss you, Peter!), Chris assured fans this is not a season to miss: "I know some people that were like, "Why Arie?" Trust me. I'm fine starting slow and people saying, "Oh I don't know," and then word of mouth spreads and then people start talking and then the next [week], everybody's like, "You have to be watching this." I know that's the way it will be with Arie." For all this and more, click HERE! Will U be tuning in on Monday?? SOUND OFF in the comments (below)! [Image via Judy Eddy/WENN.].....»»
