When his partner dies from a heart attack, Israel (Washington) goes to work for a powerful attorney (Colin Farrell) at a high stakes law firm. Working for the common man has been Israel’s calling, and now working cases with the primary target of financial profit understandably disillusions him. One of the promising factors behind Roman J. Israel, Esq. is Dan Gilroy, the writer/director of Nightcrawler, is behind the camera. With Philadelphia under his belt, Washington knows a thing or two about playing lawyers, and he should easily knock this role out of the park. Check out the trailer below and tell us what you think! PHOTOS: Check out the latest pics of Lorde The 31-year-old “Green Light” singer was asked to “join the artistic boycott of Israel” by pulling out of her upcoming performance in Tel Aviv on June 5, 2018. “Noted! Been speaking w many people about this and considering all options. Thank u for educating me i am learning all the time too,” she wrote on Twitter after receiving an impassioned letter asking her to reconsider. “Playing in Tel Aviv will be seen as giving support to the policies of the Israeli government, even if you make no comment on the political situation,” the letter reads. “Today, millions of people stand opposed to the Israeli government’s policies of oppression, ethnic cleansing, human rights violations, occupation and apartheid. As part of this struggle, we believe that an economic, intellectual and artistic boycott is an effective way of speaking out against these crimes. This worked very effectively against apartheid in South Africa, and we hope it can work again.” Other artists who have recently protested by boycott include Brian Eno and Pink Floyd‘s Roger Waters, according to Haaretz. Bella Hadid SLAMS Donald Trump"s "Unjust" Recognition Of Jerusalem As The Capitol Of Israel: "I Stand With Palestine"

Confused over the Israeli-Palestinian conflict? Let Bella Hadid explain it from her side. The supermodel, who is of Palestinian descent, spoke out against Donald Trump's controversial recognition of Jerusalem this week, which has already erupted violent clashes between the two Middle Eastern countries long embattled in territorial conflict. Hadid shared an emotional post on Instagram Thursday, detailing the "pain" she felt for her fellow Palestinians following POTUS's "unjust" move. Photo: Bella & Alicia Vikander Dazzle At Bulgari Dubai Resort Opening! In her caption, Gigi Hadid's sister included sentiments written by her close friends, DJs Simi and Haze Khadra, who are also Palestinian Americans speaking out in support of their native country. Calling Trump's decision a "huge setback to any hope for peace," the identical twins shared: "It is absurd that Palestine, a country where Muslims Christians and Jews lived side by side for centuries, has been fighting to be recognized since the inception of Israel in 1948, and to add insult to injury yesterday Trump ‘decided' to recognize Palestine's capital of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel – as if it's his to give away. This is a violation of international law and a huge setback to any hope for peace." You thought 2017 was bad? Hold on to your butts, world. See Bella's full post (below). 💔I've been waiting to put this into perfect words but I realized there is no perfect way to speak of something so unjust. A very very sad day.Watching the news and seeing the pain of the Palestinian people makes me cry for the many many generations of Palestine. Seeing the sadness of my father, cousins, and Palestinian family that are feeling for our Palestinian ancestors makes this even harder to write. Jerusalem is home of all religions. For this to happen, I feel, makes us take 5 steps back making it harder to live in a world of peace. The TREATMENT of the Palestinian people is unfair, one-sided and should not be tolerated. I stand with Palestine. Well said my Palestinian sisters @simihaze: It is absurd that Palestine, a country where Muslims Christians and Jews lived side by side for centuries, has been fighting to be recognized since the inception of Israel in 1948, and to add insult to injury yesterday Trump 'decided' to recognize Palestines capital of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel - as if it's his to give away. This is a violation of international law and a huge setback to any hope for peace. In his speech yesterday, he never once mentioned Palestine but referred to Israel and "the Palestinian people" as if Palestine never existed. Jerusalem is and always has been the capital of occupied Palestine. Declaring Jerusalem as Israels capital is a calculated move to make Palestinians lose hope of ever gaining statehood in their own country. There is no hate against anyone... My best friends I call sisters and brothers are Jewish. There are no sides... All religions living side by side.. Now it is Just one man..it has always been a factor of trying to bring peace... Where is the hope..?A post shared by 🦋 (@bellahadid) on Dec 7, 2017 at 7:55am PST [Image via Derrick Salters/WENN/White House/YouTube.].....»»

"Early Man" lands on low rung of Aardman"s evolutionary ladder

Hailing from director Nick Park, one of the masterminds behind the stop-motion-animated antics of Wallace & Gromit, "Early Man" seems like a fertile idea.
