It’s a proud and storied part of the biz that happens each Spring, and recently the major networks went through the process of deciding which series would be getting the boot and which would be renewed for another season. People with rich personal lives often pick a canceled show to flip their shit over, and this year it was Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I think Chelsea Peretti is a funny chick, but actress Andy Samberg is an annoying chick, and if she was half as funny as she thinks she is, she’d still be shit. I hate that show. And of course it got renewed after fan uproar. Check out the full list of renewed series, via TVbythenumbers, and let us know what needs to go. Remember, Katy Perry gets paid $25 million for American Idol. Ryan Murphy Was SHOOK Over Disney Buying Fox Studios: "It"s A Very Emotional Thing For Me"

Ryan Murphy has been dealing with his own private American Horror Story after Disney made a deal to acquire 20th Century Fox. The mega-producer admitted he's been "very emotional" amid the Fox-Disney deal, but will wait and see how the dust settles before deciding if he wants to take his powerhouse production company elsewhere. The mega-producer admitted he's been "very emotional" amid the Fox-Disney deal, but will wait and see how the dust settles before deciding if he wants to take his powerhouse production company elsewhere. Related: Kendrick Lamar Drops First Song From Black Panther Soundtrack! He said at the Television Critics Association press tour on Thursday: "It's a very emotional thing for me. Three months ago, I thought I would literally be buried on the Fox lot. I had my mausoleum picked out. I grew up there. So I was very unprepared for what happened." Murphy's production company has been at Fox Studios for almost 15 years, where he has grown hit shows for both FOX and FX. So, he was understandably shaken up after his studio home was now suddenly part of the gargantuan Mouse House. Long past his Glee period, Murphy was worried he would be forced to Disnify his decidedly non-family friendly work. But a call with Disney boss Bob Iger reassured the writer he had nothing to worry about. He recalled: "I got a called from Mr. Iger, and I said point-blank that what I do is not specifically Disney, and I'm not interested in that and I'm concerned about that. I'm like, ‘Do I have to put Mickey Mouse in ‘American Horror Story' now?'" The "very sweet and transparent" Iger assured Murphy that Disney is all about preserving the properties of the studios it acquires, and only intends to use its resources to make them better. Related: Deadpool Will Stay R-Rated At Disney! Now rest-assured, Murphy is excited to see what good things come from this new deal. He concluded: "I think that Mr. Iger has done an incredible job of taking communities and keeping those families in tact. Like Pixar, like Marvel. So I'm sort of interested to see what that company will look like before I make any decisions about where I'm going to go... I was surprised, but I'm very hopeful." Exactly. Disney doesn't want to change you, Murph. It wants you to stay exactly the way you are... so you can make poppa Mickey more dough! [Image via Apega/WENN.].....»»

In what could be the biggest Disney purchase since they bought Star Wars from George Lucas, the company has apparently been in talks to buy most of 21st Century Fox! Reports say the companies have been negotiating off and on for the last few weeks, with no deal currently on the table. The inside sources say Fox is interested in focusing on sports and news and would just be selling off most of its entertainment assets. Which ones exactly? Photo: Chris Pratt Returns To Instagram With Adorable Thor: Ragnarok Themed Family Pic Disney wouldn't even be allowed to own two networks, as they already own ABC. But they would be getting FX and National Geographic. Fans of Disney's IMAX nature documentaries could probably look forward to a lot more with NatGeo on board! The biggest aspect here is the purchase of the film studio. For fans of comic book movies, this could be the biggest movie news of all time... See, Fox controls the film rights to X-Men, Fantastic Four, and all related properties. With all of those characters under one roof, we could finally see Deadpool trading quips with Spider-Man, adamantium vs vibranium, Storm marrying Black Panther. This could even mean Hugh Jackman coming out of retirement, as he has said the only thing he wished he could have done as Wolverine was to meet the Avengers. And since Marvel Studios have proven they can make ANY character work on the big screen, even a dancing tree that only says "I am Groot," it's a no-brainer they would FINALLY make an amazing Fantastic Four franchise. (Sorry, Miles Teller, but you know that shit wasn't good.) But obviously films aren't the only thing Disney is known for. Imagine visiting Disneyland and walking from Star Tours over to a class at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. The possibilities are endless! [Image via 20th Century Fox/Disney/Marvel.].....»»

Disney Actor Arrested For Wanting Sex From 13-Year-Old

Disney props themselves up as a bastion of morality but I’m willing to bet they’re a haven for sexual predators with the way every actress graduating from there behaves like they’re the product of child pimping. They say there’s never been an Orca that attacked a human in the wild, but only in captivity is their behavior extremely altered. Disney is definitely like SeaWorld for small children. There’s a good chance Demi’s soup, salad, and other various flatware spoons would have never had their backsides blacked by her Bic lighter if it weren’t for Disney. And Bella wouldn’t be currently known as the whipped cream strip queen. At least Disney is attempting to save face this time with the firing of actor Stoney Westmoreland. Another Disney Channel affiliate that was a little too in love with the kids, what a surprise. A Disney Channel actor, who plays a grandfather on the popular tween show Andi Mack, has been arrested for allegedly trying to have sex with a person he believed was just 13 years old. Stoney Westmoreland, known for his role as Henry “Ham” Mack on Andi Mack, was arrested on Friday in Salt Lake City, Utah — the same city he films the Disney Channel sitcom in. Shortly after the news broke, the actor was fired from the show, PEOPLE confirms. Westmoreland, 48, allegedly contacted the person that he believed was only 13-years-old through an app, KSL reported. According to an affidavit filed in 3rd District Court and obtained by KSL, the app was specifically “used for dating and meeting people for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity.” I’m hoping the next trendy MeToo type scandal purges Disney of the all pedos they have possibly have running around the office. They never gave Chris Hansen the opportunity to take down the Catholic church, but you can bet your bottom dollar my butt will be glued to the couch if ever a show entitled “To Catch A Disney Employee” gets greenlit. There aren’t too many greater joys in this world than eating Orville Redenbacher while watching a kid diddler’s intentions interrogated by a concerned man in khaki pants. Bridezilla Holds ‘Auction’ For Friends To Bid To Be Bridesmaids In Her Wedding! Seriously!

One bride is showing what it really means to be a bridezilla! This week, a Reddit user posted to the site asking for advice on what to do about her 22-year-old sister's wedding. This week, a Reddit user posted to the site asking for advice on what to do about her 22-year-old sister's wedding. According to her, the bride is holding an actual "auction" for her friends to bid on spots to be in her bridal party! Including her sister! Related: Brides Are Stressed Out After Popular Dress Chain Abruptly Closes The 33-year-old wrote: "My sister was always very spoiled by our parents since she's the youngest of four kids and my mom had thought she wouldn't be able to have any more kids. Don't get me wrong, she can be very sweet and caring too, but she's just a very immature high maintenance person. Basically she got engaged a couple of months ago and will be getting married at the end of August. Anyway she still hasn't chosen her bridesmaids. Instead, she has sent out dozens of…invitations, to various girls. It's an invite to attend and participate in a ‘bidding auction' on the six spots in her bridal party. Whichever six of all these chicks bid the most will be the bridesmaids. There's also an auction for being her maid of honor. My sister and her fiancé are using the money to fund the wedding and honeymoon." Insanity!! As if the cost of being a bridesmaid isn't enough! Commenters have been going crazy over the auction, advising the sister not to go to the event. Or if she does go, she should bid no more than one dollar and get video... LOLz! The unnamed poor soul further explained in the comments: "She just has a really big social circle from parties and I guess she invited everyone she even vaguely knows... I just find this really awkward and tacky. She's basically having people pay to be in her wedding... I told my sister they weren't lacking for funds because it's obvious and she just said, ‘Well, if they'll already be bidding, we figure we should put their money towards a great event for everyone' as though this is an act of service she's doing for them. It's totally nonsensical." Additionally, she says her mom is taking the bride's side in all this: "Now my sister is throwing a tantrum that I haven't RSVPed to the ‘auction,' and got our mom on her side too. My mom says I will ‘look bad if I don't put in a bid when it's my own sister' and called me selfish." The fuck?? As entertaining as the thread is (HERE), the commenters all seem to agree this sounds like a messed up situation! Would U ever bid in an auction to be a bridesmaid in a wedding?.....»»

More Than 22 Million Americans Tuned In To Watch The Royal Wedding — TV Rating Deets HERE!

It was a banner day on Saturday morning for American television viewers and all six major networks that carried Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal nuptials! More than 22.4 million viewers in total got up VERY early on Saturday morning across America to watch the Royal Wedding -- which marks a total of about four million MORE Americans tuning in to see it this year than their British counterparts! Related: Re-Live Meghan's Full, Memorable Day!! According to Nielsen Media reports out this afternoon in THR that center on royal wedding viewership across the networks, NBC came away the big winner of the royal rumble with more than 6.42 million viewers watching throughout the day! They were followed up by ABC, who boasted 6.38 million, and then CBS at 4.79 million. Fox News boasted 2 million viewers, as well, which beat CNN's 1.8 million watchers, and MSNBC's tally at just under one million. All in all not a bad day for the Americans and our TV networks, though, especially because our audience turned out to be tuned in a bit more than our British counterparts (just in gross totals, and not relative to overall population size, of course!). Obviously, Meghan Markle's status as an American and being involved in the ceremony may have helped the big day, at least on this side of the pond. Related: Where Were The Spice Girls?! For some context, the previous royal wedding -- 2011's ceremony between Prince William and Kate Middleton -- average nearly 23 million viewers in total across all networks. When you add in some of the smaller splinter networks and shows (say, HBO's Cord and Tish hosting their own version of the actual royal wedding), it's likely that Prince Harry and Meghan will surpass -- narrowly -- Kate and Prince William. Thoughts, Perezcious readers?! Let us know in the comments (below)!!! [Image via WENN.].....»»
