Hillary Clinton: "I Am Done With Being A Candidate"

The would-have-been President of the United States spoke to TV host Jane Pauley on CBS Sunday Morning and confirmed that, yes, it's all over -- at least as an active candidate. Related: Kellyanne Conway Is A Fan Of Hillary Clinton?! On the morning talk show, Pauley jumped right into the question, asking Mrs. Clinton (below): "Is your political career over?" And without hesitating or hedging, Clinton responded: "Yes. As an active politician, it's over. I am done with being a candidate. But I am not done with politics, because I literally believe that our country's future is at stake." Of course, this all comes just days before her book, What Happened, is fully released, detailing exactly what went down during the 2016 presidential election. And while Clinton would have undoubtedly made a better President than Donald Trump, here we are... with Clinton now out of politics and Trump firmly fucking everything up from the Oval Office. Sigh. Related: Mike Pence Addresses Claims He's Running For President In 2020 At least Clinton did take one more good shot at Trump during the interview, saying later to Pauley (below): "We have a reality show that leads to the election of a president. He ends up in the Oval Office. He says, 'Boy, it's so much harder than I thought it would be. This is really tough. I had no idea.' Well, yeah, because it's not a show. It's real. It's reality for sure." Love it!! Would've loved to have had you as our leader, Mrs. Clinton... [Image via Dennis Van Tine/Future Image/WENN.].....»»

Donald Trump Voters Are INSANE! And This New Poll Proves It!

Wow. Just… yeah. If you were curious just how much Donald Trump's supporters had become brainwashed, Public Policy Polling has the answer. Just... yeah. If you were curious just how much Donald Trump's supporters had become brainwashed, Public Policy Polling has the answer. The week after Donald Trump Jr. himself released the email proof that he took a meeting with someone who wanted to give him damaging material on Hillary Clinton on behalf of the Russian government, a full 32% of Trump supporters say it didn't happen. Video: Seth Meyers Is Back To Laugh At Bad Handshakes & WORSE Legal Defense! Not that it wasn't as bad as the media is making out, not that it was justified -- they're saying they don't even believe it fucking happened. The meeting Trump Jr. openly admitted to. What will it take for these people to open their eyes? We mean, there's willful ignorance and then there's just flat-out denial! 81% still think no one on Trump's team worked with Russia to help his campaign. Not only that -- more Trump supporters think Russia wanted Hillary to win, at an insane 44% to just 26% who believe the Russians supported Trump! Furthermore, even if evidence were found that Trump colluded with Russia, 77% say he should stay in office anyway! But forget Russia for a second. Let's just talk about blind support. Related: Do Politics Change Pop Stars? Remember when Trump said he "could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody" and not lose voters? It's not that much of an exaggeration. 45% of Trump voters say they would still approve of him. Let's just stop and think about that for a second. NEARLY HALF (presumably the same 45% who don't even believe Trump Jr.'s own email admission) of Trump voters say they're OK with him committing senseless murder. Another 26% say they don't know one way or the other. Presumably those ones need to know the victim's skin color before they make up their minds. Related: High School Students Shock With Nazi Salutes & Shouts Of 'Heil Trump!' The good news comes from the results when ALL voters were polled. A consistent majority trusts the news media over Trump, 61% still think he should release his tax returns, and 57% are against the stupid fucking wall. Now if only we could find a way for the popular vote to matter... Oh yeah, 68% of voters say they would favor laws requiring the redrawing of legislative districts in a non-partisan way. So there's that. What do YOU think about these poll numbers?? [Image via Fox News/NBC News.].....»»

The 69-year-old politician revealed an experience she had with Donald Trump in an excerpt from her upcoming memoir What Happened. “It was the second presidential debate and Donald Trump was looming behind me. Two days before the world heard about him groping women. Now we were on a small stage and no matter where I walked, he followed me closely — staring at me, making faces,” Hillary wrote. She continued, “It was incredibly uncomfortable. He was literally breathing down my neck. My skin crawled. It was one of those moments where you wish you could hit pause and ask everyone watching, ‘Well, what would you do?’ Do you stay calm, keep smiling and carry on as if he weren’t repeatedly invading in your space? Or do you turn, look him in the eye, and say loudly and clearly, ‘Back up you creep. Get away from me. On Wednesday morning, Hillary Clinton shared an excerpt from the audiobook for her new memoir What Happened with MSNBC -- and the queen delivered, y'all! In the book published with Simon & Schuster, the first woman Presidential nominee for a major political party tried to make sense of her loss to Donald Trump in the 2016 election. Related: Chelsea Clinton Defends Barron Trump's Wardrobe! She penned: "I don't have all the answers and this isn't a comprehensive account of the 2016 race; that's not for me to write. I have too little distance and too great a stake in it. Instead, this is my story. I want to pull back the curtain on an experience that was exhilarating, joyful, humbling, infuriating and just plain baffling. Writing this wasn't easy. Every day that I was a candidate for President, I knew that millions of people were counting on me, and I couldn't bear the idea of letting them down, but I did. I couldn't get the job done. And I'll have to live with that for the rest of my life." *Sniff* The longtime politician and activist went on to explain the objective of telling her story: "In this book, I write about moments from the campaign that I wish I could go back and do over. If the Russians could hack my subconscious, they'd find a long list. I also capture some moments I want to remember forever, like when my tiny granddaughter raced into the room while I was practicing my convention speech, and what it was like hours later to step onstage to deliver that speech as the first woman ever nominated by a major political party for President of the United States." In another section of the book, Hillary remembered feeling uncomfortable when Trump lurked closely behind her during the October debate at Washington University in St. Louis -- just days after his pussy-grabbing comments surfaced. Clinton wrote: "'This is not OK,' I thought. It was the second presidential debate and Donald Trump was looming behind me. Two days before, the world heard him brag about groping women. Now, we were on a small stage, and no matter where I walked, he followed me closely, staring at me, making faces. It was incredibly uncomfortable. He was literally breathing down my neck. My skin crawled. It was one of those moments where you wish you could hit pause and ask everyone watching, 'Well, what would you do?' Do you stay calm, keep smiling and carry on as if he weren't repeatedly invading your space? Or do you turn, looking him in the eye and say loudly and clearly, 'Back up, you creep. Get away from me! I know you love to intimidate women, but you can't intimidate me, so back up.'" She added: "I chose Option A. I kept my cool, aided by a lifetime of difficult men trying to throw me off. I did, however, grip the microphone extra hard. I wonder, though, whether I should have chosen Option B. It certainly would have been better TV. Maybe I have over-learned the lesson of staying calm, biting my tongue, digging my fingernails into a clenched fist, smiling all the while, determined to present a composed face to the world." The Five Best Quotes From Hillary Clinton"s New Memoir

Hillary Clinton might be done as a candidate, but she's not going anywhere. In her new memoir What Happened, the 69-year-old politician opens up about the 2016 election and the factors that contributed to her devastating loss to Donald Trump for the presidency, from her perspective. Related: Kellyanne Conway Actually Had Nice Things To Say About Hillary Here are the best five highlights from the tell-all (below)! 1. On taking responsibility for losing the election: "I go back over my own shortcomings and the mistakes we made. I take responsibility for all of them. You can blame the data, blame the message, blame anything you want -- but I was the candidate." 2. On the controversial debate with Trump, where he was seen lurking behind her: "This is not okay, I thought. It was the second presidential debate, and Donald Trump was looming behind me. Two days before, the world heard him brag about groping women. Now we were on a small stage and no matter where I walked, he followed me closely, staring at me, making faces. It was incredibly uncomfortable. He was literally breathing down my neck. My skin crawled ... It was one of those moments where you wish you could hit pause and ask everyone watching, ‘Well, what would you do?' Do you stay calm, keep smiling and carry on as if he weren't repeatedly invading your space? Or do you turn, look him in the eye and say loudly and clearly, ‘Back up, you creep. Get away from me. I know you love to intimidate women, but you can't intimidate me, so back up.'" 3. On the Bernie Sanders wound: "He certainly shared my horror at the thought of Donald Trump becoming President, and I appreciated that he campaigned for me in the general election. But he isn't a Democrat -- that's not a smear, that's what he says. He didn't get into the race to make sure a Democrat won the White House, he got in to disrupt the Democratic Party. He was right that Democrats needed to strengthen our focus on working families and that there's always a danger of spending too much time courting donors because of our insane campaign finance system. He also engaged a lot of young people in the political process for the first time, which is extremely important...I am proud to be a Democrat and I wish Bernie were, too." 4. On being disliked by so many people, for seemingly no reason: "What makes me such a lightning rod for fury? I'm really asking. I'm at a loss. I think it's partly because I'm a woman." 5. On her controversial marriage to Bill Clinton: "There were times that I was deeply unsure about whether our marriage could or should survive. But on those days, I asked myself the questions that mattered to me: Do I still love him? And can I still be in this marriage without becoming unrecognizable to myself -- twisted by anger, resentment, or remoteness? The answers were always yes." Will U be picking up a copy?? Donald Trump Jr. & Eric Trump Are Super Jelly Of Jared Kushner!

Jared Kushner has become a prominent, prepubescent voice in Donald Trump's administration — and not everyone is happy about it. Related: Trump & More React To John McCain Brain Cancer Diagnosis A source close to the family says the Trump boys are envious of Kushner's influential role as POTUS's senior adviser and miss being part of the family fun post-election, explaining to People: "All the attention to Jared is a bit of a sore point and they feel left out of the fun in D.C. They miss being at the center of the action." Awww, is that why Junior lashed out and WikiLeaks'd himself? Ivanka Trump's husband resigned as chief executive of Kushner Companies and as publisher of the Observer in January to become the right-hand manboy of the president. He's been given a big plate in the White House -- taking on criminal justice reform, Middle East peace, and everything in between. But if you ask the Trump boys, they won't be able to tell you why Kushner is getting all the love these days instead of them. The source added: "Don worked on the campaign and Jared gets the big Forbes cover and they make him out to be a big genius, and Don is like, ‘No, I worked on the campaign too!'" While the brothers were very visible and outspoken on the 2016 campaign trail, the 36-year-old Kushner was more of a behind-the-scenes player -- which, in the end, is the type of figure who thrives in the White House. Related: Trump Had Second Secret Meeting With Putin At G20 The family source continues: "During the campaign, the brothers thrived on being the spokespeople and speaking at rallies and being very visible. Jared was able to build much more influence and power by doing exactly the opposite." Makes sense! After all, there's only room for one loud, obnoxious Trump man in the West Wing. Though Don Jr. and Eric may be jelly of their brother-in-law, the source says there is no "outward hostility" toward Kushner -- and although Jared "seems uptight," he's actually "hilarious" once you get to know him! Related: Trump Donors Are Paying Junior's Legal Bills But Ivanka's husband may no longer feel the same way about the Trump boys, especially after getting caught in the fallout of Don Jr.'s dumbass email purge. Along with former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, Don Jr. and Kushner are scheduled to testify before the Senate judiciary committee for the June 2016 meeting they attended with Russian officials promising dirt on Hillary Clinton. Don Jr. said he was posting the email chain -- which Kushner and Manafort were copied on -- for "transparency," but the insider says he's caused a whole legal mess to unravel, revealing: "[Don Jr. and Eric] were better off where they were, they bore no responsibility. This now brings Don into the story and attaches him to this negativity." Yup, he definitely needed some attention. [Image via CNN/Instagram.].....»»

More trash talk from two of the world's lamest leaders. In his speech on the U.N. floor on Tuesday, Donald Trump threatened to "totally destroy" North Korea if the U.S. was "forced to defend itself." Related: South Park Skewers Trump's Handling Of North Korea Well, after weeks of launching threats in response to the country's missile tests, Trump's remarks finally got a reaction out of Kim Jong Un. The biggest takeaway? The supreme leader can throw some shade! Oh, and Trump might have finally pissed him off to the point of nuclear war. In an official statement released Thursday, Kim called Trump " a frightened dog" and a "gangster fond of playing with fire." He wrote: "Far from making remarks of any persuasive power that can be viewed to be helpful to defusing tension, [Trump] made unprecedented rude nonsense one has never heard from any of his predecessors... A frightened dog barks louder." Wow. It's sad when a dictator starving his country can make the president look like a childish fool. But the more they argue, the clearer it's becoming that the two are the same type of beast. Like Trump, Kim is ready to fight (nuclear) fire with fire -- and apparently has a penchant for teaching fun new words to his people. Related: Trump Blocked Stage-4 Cancer Patient After She Criticized Him In his recent statement, Kim repeatedly referred to Trump as a "dotard" -- an oldschool term for a senile or feeble-minded elderly person -- adding: "I will make the man holding the prerogative of the supreme command in the U.S. pay dearly for his speech calling for totally destroying [North Korea]... I will surely and definitely tame the mentally deranged U.S. dotard with fire." Whoa. And we thought SNL was savage with the Trump digs... South Korea's government noted that Kim's response, written in the first person, was the first such direct address to the world by any North Korean leader. Hours after Kim's unprecedented comments, North Korea's foreign minister reportedly said the country may test a hydrogen bomb in the Pacific Ocean to fulfill Kim's vow to take the "highest-level" action against the U.S. Trump, however, is just getting started with "testing" Kim's patience. He tweeted on Friday: Kim Jong Un of North Korea, who is obviously a madman who doesn't mind starving or killing his people, will be tested like never before! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 22, 2017 Trump also announced on Thursday he is planning to sign an executive order that would put sanctions on individuals, companies, and financial institutions that do business with North Korea -- or, as Trump put it, "this criminal rogue regime." The president has made it perfectly clear his mission was North Korea's "complete denuclearization." But by issuing threats instead of solutions, Trump is putting many in danger just to force the bad guys to do bad guy things. Thoughts?? [Image via KCNA/Becher/WENN.].....»»

Related: Trump Had Second Secret Meeting With Putin At G20 While Donald Trump defended his eldest son, insisting that "nothing happened with the meeting," insiders say Don Jr. still royally messed up in his father's eyes by confessing his wrongdoings. A source who knows the family well told People: "Those are not words normally heard from a Trump... [Donald Sr.] doesn't like failure and mistakes, and he doesn't accept them. You have to justify your existence to be in his realm." It's no surprise that the child most in the president's realm is Ivanka Trump, who never would have made such a mistake -- let alone admit it afterwards! Unlike his White House adviser sister, who has always been daddy's favorite, Don Jr. has had a tougher time adapting to the First Family spotlight. Related: Trump Donors Are Paying Jr.'s Legal Bills Despite vocalizing support for his dad on social media, the 39-year-old is reportedly "miserable" running the family business with his little bro Eric Trump and would rather escape Manhattan to live a simple life in the mountains hunting big game. The source added: "Don can't do any deals, because he'll be overly scrutinized. He just goes to work every day and is miserable." Sounds like he and Melania Trump are living a similar struggle! Usually, Don Jr. will spend weekends in a rustic cabin upstate with his wife Vanessa and their five kids -- unless, of course, he's planning on meeting with Russian lawyers to get dirt on Hillary Clinton, as his emails have confirmed. Some legal experts consider Junior's emails treason. Though family friends know the businessman's loyalty doesn't lie with his country, but with his father -- and will continue to stay that way. A friend close to Don Jr. and Eric said: "The loyalty within this family is insane. But ABC will be showing it later for those that get Trump’d.” Click inside to see fan reactions to Donald Trump’s speech showing during Bachelor in Paradise… I didn't think we could drag out the #BachelorInParadise rose ceremony anymore, but then Trump comes on TV 🙄🙄🙄 pic.twitter.com/0QmhLEp7gM — Castle Williams (@WxCastle) August 22, 2017 Alright Trump has done some sketchy shit before but interrupting Bachelor in Paradise is way over the line man #ImpeachTrump — Dana Sutton (@d_suttonn) August 22, 2017 Bachelor nation: WE ARE FINALLY GETTING A ROSE CEREMONY !!!Donald Trump: #BachelorinParadise pic.twitter.com/3tUBLEY2qG — me llamo yulithza ✨ (@yulixa3jo) August 22, 2017 Me: I don't think Trump can get any worse. The Palm Beach County State Attorney and the former Miami Dolphins cheerleader were happily married and lived a fabulous life in Florida... Then, Trump became President, and their once-blissful love affair came to a crashing halt! Related: Late Night SOUNDS OFF On Trump's Transgender Military Ban Prior to the businessman becoming the 45th President of the United States, the Republican and her now-ex Democrat husband were frequent guests at Trump's resort Mar-a-Lago because of Dave's job. Lynn told Inside Edition: "We spent New Year's with Trump at Mar-a-Lago... We were right at his table, right next to him. We were there every weekend." Lynn was such a diehard Trump supporter, she even named her dog Ivanka! However, her obsession soon became too much for her partner. "He was like, 'I need you to take all your Trump photos off your Facebook page,' and what I did was — and I realize this was rebellious — I made Trump my profile picture. I'm like, 'You can't tell me what to do.'" Although she was "elated" and "so happy" that Donnie eventually beat Hillary Clinton in the presidential election, the political drama took a toll on her marriage, and Dave filed for divorce a month after the inauguration. When asked if she flat out chose Trump over her husband, she enthusiastically responded: "Oh yeah!" Watch out, Melania Trump! This woman is gunning for your spot! [Image via Inside Edition.].....»»

Kellyanne Conway Actually Had Nice Things To Say About Hillary Clinton To Her Three Young Daughters

We imagine it was pretty difficult for Kellyanne Conway to explain to her three young daughters why she wasn't supporting Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election — and was instead campaigning for a self-proclaimed pussy grabber. Donald Trump's counselor is very proud of herself for climbing the ranks within the Republican party -- even though most of the policies oppress women not in her position. Anyway, the campaign manager is featured in TIME's new Firsts video series profiling groundbreaking women, where she opened up about how she talked to her children about how she opposed but still "respected" the first female presidential nominee for a major party. Related: Mike Pence Addresses Claims He's Running For President In 2020 The mother-of-four explained: "In explaining how I feel about one thing that Donald Trump said or did to my daughters, I would be remiss in not revealing the full conversation, which is also why Mommy, who's a woman, did not support the first female presidential candidate for a major party ... I would tell them that I respect very much that Secretary Clinton was running for president, and it showed that in this country, anybody can do anything if they set their mind to it. At the same time, I tried to explain to them that you could be excited for someone with whom you disagree, and share in that moment in history as a proud American." Elsewhere in the interview, the pollster discussed how she made a name for herself in a party dominated by old white guys: "In Republican politics, particularly 20 some years ago, there were few women. There were few women consultants, there were few women candidates, there were certainly few women congressmen and office-holders. I'd walk into the RNC and I'd walk into other Republican political situations, which I have described as walking into the men's locker room at the Elks Club holding a bachelor party. My comfort level came in learning how to think like a man and to behave like a lady." Accepting this "locker room" culture clearly helped her get in Trump's good graces: "I'm so pleased that I have his ear and his trust as campaign manager, and now as I take on this role as counselor to the president — the highest ranking non-relative female in his White House." Sure. But are you on the right side of history?? [Image via TIME.].....»»

"American Horror Story: Cult" Is Not About Donald Trump Or Hillary Clinton

American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy is explaining that Cult really is not about Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, rather, about the aftermath of the election and how that affected people. “Our feeling is that everybody lost their sh*t after the election — Republican, Democrat — and everybody’s still losing their sh*t, and nobody’s really [...] American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy is explaining that Cult really is not about Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, rather, about the aftermath of the election and how that affected people. “Our feeling is that everybody lost their sh*t after the election — Republican, Democrat — and everybody’s still losing their sh*t, and nobody’s really figured out from either side where to put those feelings,” Ryan told THR. “There is no real discussion. Everybody’s still at each other’s throats, you’re either on one side or you’re on the other. The season really is not about Trump, it’s not about Clinton. It’s about somebody who has the wherewithal to put their finger up in the wind and see that that’s what’s happening and is using that to rise up and form power, and using people’s vulnerabilities about how they’re afraid and don’t know where to turn, and they feel like the world is on fire.”  “People have the wrong idea already about what it’s going to be. People in the Rust Belt who have loved the show [are tweeting], ‘I’m out. I can’t believe that you’re tackling this.’ They don’t understand that every side on our show gets it just as much. The white privilege that Sarah and Alison['s characters] deal with is satirical as well,” he continued. “The world we’re living in is ridiculous. So, I think that the show, in some ways, is reflecting the idea that nothing makes sense, and the only way to get through it is to try and have some degree of humor about it.” The new season of American Horror Story debuts tonight on FX......»»

Trump Re-Election Campaign Donors Are Paying Donald Trump Jr."s Legal Bills — And The Trump Corporation?!

Donald Trump re-election campaign donors are certainly getting their money's worth. After all, Trump can't win a second term if he and the entire first family are in jail! After all, Trump can't win a second term if he and the entire first family are in jail! In June, the President's re-election campaign made a $50,000 payment to the Law Offices of Alan S. Futerfas, the lawyer now representing Donald Trump Jr. in the ongoing investigation into Russia's meddling in the 2016 election. Related: Trump's Attorney Threatens Stranger In Explicit Email Chain! The payment was made over a week before news broke that Junior had met with a Russian lawyer with strong ties to the Kremlin during election season last year. The June 27 payment was described as covering "legal consulting" fees, according to a filing with the Federal Election Commission on Saturday. Futerfas was announced as Trump Jr.'s lawyer after the first revelations came of the meeting, which was later revealed to have been attended by others whose names were not previously disclosed -- including former Soviet military intelligence officer Rinat Akhmetshin and Russian translator Anatoli Samachornov. The campaign also paid Jones Day, the law firm that represented Trump's campaign during the election. While this seems shady, the FEC allows candidates and federal office holders to spend campaign funds on legal fees which arose from their candidacy. But these aren't the only legal bills Trump donors are footing! Video: Trump Makes It Weird During Made In America Week Speech On June 30, the re-election campaign paid $89,561 to The Trump Corporation for "legal consulting." And no, the company is not a law firm. The re-election campaign has raised about 8$ million -- and spent $4.4 million -- in the second quarter of 2017. Trump filed for re-election the day after taking office. Barack Obama, in comparison, did not file his 2012 re-election bid until April 4, 2011. Looks like this is the best business scam since his first election campaign! [Image via Fox News.].....»»
