Hillary Clinton Misspeaks While Drawing Comparisons Between Harvey Weinstein & "Admitted Sexual Assaulter" Donald Trump

On Friday, the former Secretary of State sat down with BBC's Andrew Marr to promote her book about losing the presidential election, titled What Happened. Unsurprisingly, the interview took a turn away from the contents of the book and towards pressing current topics. Related: Quentin Tarantino Breaks His Silence On Weinstein's Scandal! Specifically, Marr asked the once Presidential hopeful to weigh in on the Harvey Weinstein sexual misconduct scandal as the disgraced Hollywood heavyweight has donated thousands to her various campaigns. Hillary doubled down on her denouncement of Weinstein as she told Marr: "I was really shocked and appalled because I've known him through politics as many Democrats have. He's been a supporter - he's been a funder for all of us, for Obama, for me, for people who have run for office in the United States. So it was just disgusting and the stories that have come out are heartbreaking. And I really commend the women who have been willing to step forward now and tell their stories." Beautifully said. Sadly, Secretary Clinton misspoke as she continued her train of thought: "I think it's important that we not just focus on him and whatever consequences flow from these stories about his behavior but that we recognize this kind of behavior cannot be tolerated anywhere, whether it's in entertainment, politics... after all, we have someone admitting to being a sexual assaulter in the Oval Office... There has to be a recognition that we must stand against this kind of action that is so sexist and misogynistic." So close to being a perfect statement. Obviously, the 69-year-old politician is referring to Donald Trump's Access Hollywood tape scandal. In case you forgot, during the presidential campaign, the Trumpster was heard boasting about "grabbing women by the pussy" in footage from 2005. While POTUS has admitted to participating in "locker room talk," he has never -- on the record, at least -- admitted to committing sexual misconduct. Oof. Related: Minka Kelly A Gross Story About Weinstein! Hillary laid into Trump once more as, after skillfully dancing around questions about her husband Bill Clinton's own sex scandal, she added: "That was subject of a huge investigation in the late 90s and there were conclusions drawn. That was clearly in the past. It is something that has to be taken seriously, for anyone not just in entertainment... The really sad part of the campaign was how this horrific tape, what he said about women in the past what he said about women during the campaign, was discounted by a lot of voters." So shady -- and we LOVES it. Nonetheless, Clinton avoided making any additional comparisons between Trump and Weinstein as she refused to answer if the two businessmen were "the same kind of person." She noted: "I'm not a psychologist, I can't draw that conclusion. There are credible reports from women about both that sound very similar." Good save, doll! Unfortunately, Hillary isn't finished with this Weinstein drama as there's some confusion over what she'll do with the money donated to her campaign fund. While the former Senator previously stated that she planned on giving the funds to charity, she recently told Channel 4 that she now plans to give the estimated "$16,000" back to Harvey. Hey, as long as she doesn't keep it, we're cool with whatever she chooses. Be sure to watch Hillary's sit down with Andrew for yourself (below). [Image via WENN/BBC News/YouTube.].....»»

Related: Kellyanne Conway Is A Fan Of Hillary Clinton?! On the morning talk show, Pauley jumped right into the question, asking Mrs. Clinton (below): "Is your political career over?" And without hesitating or hedging, Clinton responded: "Yes. As an active politician, it's over. I am done with being a candidate. But I am not done with politics, because I literally believe that our country's future is at stake." Of course, this all comes just days before her book, What Happened, is fully released, detailing exactly what went down during the 2016 presidential election. And while Clinton would have undoubtedly made a better President than Donald Trump, here we are... with Clinton now out of politics and Trump firmly fucking everything up from the Oval Office. Sigh. Related: Mike Pence Addresses Claims He's Running For President In 2020 At least Clinton did take one more good shot at Trump during the interview, saying later to Pauley (below): "We have a reality show that leads to the election of a president. Bill Clinton is facing yet another sexual assault scandal as four women are allegedly prepared to tell their stories about the former President unless they reach substantial payouts. Apparently, four instances occurred after Hillary Clinton's husband left the White House in 2001 when the 71-year-old was hired by playboy billionaire investor, Ron Burkle, to work at his Yucaipa companies. Clinton would fly around the world with a bevy of women on Burkle's private jet, which was nicknamed "Air Fuck One." Details of the women's stories have not yet been released, but they are said to have been low-level employees of Burkle when they were in their late teens. Related: Hillary Clinton Draws Comparisons Between Harvey Weinstein & Donald Trump Legal reps for the women, who have remained anonymous, are considering filing individual lawsuits if the Clinton camp doesn't pay out. According to Clinton author Ed Klein, the former politician is aware of the new accusations with a rep saying: "Obviously, I'm aware of [the allegations] but can't talk about them." A Democratic Party official also said: "Bill is distraught at the thought of having to testify and defend himself against sex charges again. He hopes his legal team can somehow stop the women from filing charges and drag him through the mud." According to DailyMail.com, Hillary and Bill have been living separate lives for years and Bill even has a "love nest" in Little Rock, where he spends most of his time. No details surrounding the actual allegations have actually been released -- so it sounds like we'll just have to see how the Clinton team settles the suits. Honestly, we're not looking for another cover up. And we would appreciate Bill taking accountability for his actions and Hillary speaking out against her husband's behavior once and for all. Just... yeah. If you were curious just how much Donald Trump's supporters had become brainwashed, Public Policy Polling has the answer. The week after Donald Trump Jr. himself released the email proof that he took a meeting with someone who wanted to give him damaging material on Hillary Clinton on behalf of the Russian government, a full 32% of Trump supporters say it didn't happen. Video: Seth Meyers Is Back To Laugh At Bad Handshakes & WORSE Legal Defense! Not that it wasn't as bad as the media is making out, not that it was justified -- they're saying they don't even believe it fucking happened. The meeting Trump Jr. openly admitted to. What will it take for these people to open their eyes? We mean, there's willful ignorance and then there's just flat-out denial! 81% still think no one on Trump's team worked with Russia to help his campaign. Not only that -- more Trump supporters think Russia wanted Hillary to win, at an insane 44% to just 26% who believe the Russians supported Trump! Furthermore, even if evidence were found that Trump colluded with Russia, 77% say he should stay in office anyway! But forget Russia for a second. Let's just talk about blind support. Related: Do Politics Change Pop Stars? Remember when Trump said he "could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody" and not lose voters? It's not that much of an exaggeration. 45% of Trump voters say they would still approve of him. Let's just stop and think about that for a second. NEARLY HALF (presumably the same 45% who don't even believe Trump Jr.'s own email admission) of Trump voters say they're OK with him committing senseless murder. Another 26% say they don't know one way or the other. Presumably those ones need to know the victim's skin color before they make up their minds. In a new interview with Daily Beast, the 56-year-old actor -- who hosted a campaign fundraiser for Hillary Clinton in April of 2016 -- said the first woman in U.S. history to become the presidential nominee of a major political party didn't "elevate her game" enough to beat Donald Trump. Related: Hillary Claps Back At Trump's Book Criticism! When asked how he thinks Clinton will go down in history, the director responded by saying Hillary is "not as good at communicating things": "Hillary, for years and years and years, has been the presumptive nominee, and quite honestly, she was incredibly qualified for the job. But being qualified for the job does not necessarily mean you're the right person to be president. Here's what I mean. She was more qualified than even her husband was when he was elected president, but she's not as good at communicating things. That's simply true. When she got up and gave a speech, it didn't soar. Now, that doesn't mean that she wouldn't have done a great job as president, and I supported her because by the time we did the fundraiser the primary was over at that point and it was time to get on with picking someone to move forward, and she was the right person to side with." He added: "It was frustrating because I never saw her elevate her game. I never saw it. And I had a lot of liberal friends who were like, 'She's not good at this.' And I see that, and I understand it." After four decades in public service and holding the titles of First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State -- we're left wondering what else HRC could have possibly done, other than be born a man? Even with the popular vote, she was beat by a reality star. Perhaps George, who also has zero political experience, would like to mansplain that as well. We will give him the benefit of the doubt and acknowledge his acknowledgement of the role sexism and misogyny played in the election, as weak as it was: "I also think, though, that if it was a guy it wouldn't have been so polarizing. I think the fact that she's a woman made it a much harder uphill battle. They've had the 'Arkansas Project' where for twenty-five years the Clintons have been accused of murdering Vince Foster and accused of tons of stuff, so I thought it was a raw deal. I think that she wasn't particularly good at articulating the things that she wanted to do, and unfortunately we live at a time right now where articulating what you want to do is more potent in the electorate than the other way around, obviously, when Trump only said he was going to 'Make America Great Again.' Don't you think the next Democrat who runs should just run with a blue hat that says, 'Make America Great Again?'" If your argument is that Hillary lost because "she wasn't particularly good at articulating the things that she wanted to do," how in the WORLD do you explain Trump's victory? We can't recall even one instance where POTUS gave an articulate answer regarding policy... ever! GOD, we are so sick of this shit. [Image via CBS/WENN.].....»»

Donald Trump VS The NFL — Everything You Need To Know!

On Friday night, Trump was holding [...] What could the President of the United States of America possibly have to gain by fighting with the NFL?? Well, when you're talking about Donald Trump, there actually are a couple good reasons. (And by "good" we mean horrific.) Let's rewind. Related: Like John Oliver Did Last Night For Megyn Kelly -- OUCH! On Friday night, Trump was holding a rally in Alabama -- yes, our sitting president who has been in office less than a year regularly holds campaign-style rallies to inflate his ego -- in which he made some inflammatory remarks about protesting football players. In short, he said NFL owners should fire the players who kneel during the National Anthem. And he said it in the crudest way: "Wouldn't you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field right now. Out! He's fired. He's fired!'" Yep. Our president used an expletive in a public speech attacking private citizens who are peacefully protesting. Though he didn't mention Colin Kaepernick by name, he is at the vanguard of this controversy. So his mom responded to the "son of a bitch" comment with an AMAZING quip: Guess that makes me a proud bitch! — Teresa Kaepernick (@B4IleaveU) September 23, 2017 It should be noted in that same speech he also rattled off the opinion that penalties for hitting too hard, installed to protect players from concussions, are "ruining the game." Shortly after this, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry was so offended by this (and presumably everything that came before) he decided not to attend the traditional visit by the NBA champs to the White House. In response, Trump officially, publicly disinvited him. CLICK HERE FOR MORE! Guy. Everyone knows you can't un-invite someone after they said they weren't coming! It turns you from a loser into an ANGRY loser. Even middle school student body presidents wouldn't make that mistake. Damn. Or as LeBron James put it: U bum @StephenCurry30 already said he ain't going! So therefore ain't no invite. Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up! — LeBron James (@KingJames) September 23, 2017 Ha! But Trump had moved on from a feud with a specific player. He decided he wanted to take on the entire NFL. On Saturday, Drumpf doubled down: If a player wants the privilege of making millions of dollars in the NFL,or other leagues, he or she should not be allowed to disrespect.... — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 23, 2017 ...our Great American Flag (or Country) and should stand for the National Anthem. If not, YOU'RE FIRED. Find something else to do! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 23, 2017 If you haven't seen it, longtime sports journalist Bob Costas gave an epic response to this argument, pointing out that peaceful protest and dissent are some of the most patriotic things you can do in a free country. CLICK HERE FOR MORE After NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Trump's comments showed an "unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL, our great game and all of our players," Trump responded: Roger Goodell of NFL just put out a statement trying to justify the total disrespect certain players show to our country.Tell them to stand! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 23, 2017 On Sunday, he actually encouraged his followers to boycott watching the games: If NFL fans refuse to go to games until players stop disrespecting our Flag & Country, you will see change take place fast. Fire or suspend! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 24, 2017 This is clearly on very shaky ground ethically -- the POTUS directing people to boycott a private American business -- and he's already had a complaint filed against him with the Office of Government Ethics. Oh, and if you're like us and know to look for the tweet from Barack Obama's presidency that proves Trump is being a total hypocrite about this, look no further: President should not be telling the Washington Redskins to change their name-our country has far bigger problems! FOCUS on them, not nonsense — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 8, 2013 Every time. So on Sunday when it came time for football players to stand for the National Anthem, all eyes were on their reactions, which... varied. At latest count more than 200 players league-wide didn't stand for the anthem. Trump's friend Tom Brady doesn't have his back. The Pittsburg Steelers didn't show up on the field at all! CLICK HERE FOR MORE Trump was so unhappy about all this he may even have snuck a lewd gesture onto live TV. You can decide that one for yourself. Trump was undeterred. Obviously. But on Monday morning, he did tweet a clarification, as once again he didn't like being called out as a racist: The issue of kneeling has nothing to do with race. It is about respect for our Country, Flag and National Anthem. NFL must respect this! — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 25, 2017 Except it DOES have to do with race. You can't say the intent of these players has nothing to do with race when they're flat-out saying it's about race. It's about injustice along racial lines, specifically when it comes to police brutality. Police keep getting away with killing unarmed black citizens. But the surge in players kneeling this Sunday was in unity AGAINST Trump's awful comments attacking players and their freedom of speech. We know because THAT'S WHAT THEY'RE SAYING ABOUT IT! And they aren't alone. Many celebrities have come out in support of the protesting. CLICK HERE FOR MORE So with all of this support on the other side, for the NFL, for freedom of speech, for African Americans looking for justice, why would Trump take the position he's taking? Two reasons: 1. His Base We already know by Trump's inability to condemn the neo-Nazis in Charlottesville, equating the white supremacists with those counter-protesting, that Trump is unwilling to go against his base. Let's be honest here. Trump ran on a platform of hate. He painted Mexicans as criminals as he threw his hat in the ring. He regularly fans the flames of Islamophobia. His wall, aside from being completely idiotic, is as xenophobic a policy as we've ever heard. The first time he even dipped his toe into the political world was to declare Obama wasn't really an American. So his core supporters, the ones he's courted from the beginning, are racists. And he can't lose them. They're all he has left. Besides the cowardly Republican party that let him hijack them we mean. 2. Ego Trump KNOWS so much of this is about him. He's the one who is embarrassing and demeaning our country, he's the one making us all look bad, he's the one emboldening Nazis. It's 2017, and we have a Nazi problem! Let that soak in. He's making every problem with our country worse. So as the leader of the United States, he takes it as a personal slight when players kneel during its anthem, when they don't stand for the flag. And we know how he reacts to criticism. And he's petty enough to start a war with an organization like the NFL over it. So there you go. [Image via Instagram.].....»»

The 69-year-old politician revealed an experience she had with Donald Trump in an excerpt from her upcoming memoir What Happened. “It was the second presidential debate and Donald Trump was looming behind me. Two days before the world heard about him groping women. Now we were on a small stage and no matter where I walked, he followed me closely — staring at me, making faces,” Hillary wrote. She continued, “It was incredibly uncomfortable. He was literally breathing down my neck. My skin crawled. It was one of those moments where you wish you could hit pause and ask everyone watching, ‘Well, what would you do?’ Do you stay calm, keep smiling and carry on as if he weren’t repeatedly invading in your space? Or do you turn, look him in the eye, and say loudly and clearly, ‘Back up you creep. Get away from me. I know you love to intimidate women, but you can’t intimidate me so back up.’” Hillary obviously chose to keep her cool but added that she continuously wonders what would have happened if she had chosen the second option......»»

On Wednesday morning, Hillary Clinton shared an excerpt from the audiobook for her new memoir What Happened with MSNBC -- and the queen delivered, y'all! In the book published with Simon & Schuster, the first woman Presidential nominee for a major political party tried to make sense of her loss to Donald Trump in the 2016 election. Related: Chelsea Clinton Defends Barron Trump's Wardrobe! She penned: "I don't have all the answers and this isn't a comprehensive account of the 2016 race; that's not for me to write. I have too little distance and too great a stake in it. Instead, this is my story. I want to pull back the curtain on an experience that was exhilarating, joyful, humbling, infuriating and just plain baffling. Writing this wasn't easy. Every day that I was a candidate for President, I knew that millions of people were counting on me, and I couldn't bear the idea of letting them down, but I did. I couldn't get the job done. And I'll have to live with that for the rest of my life." *Sniff* The longtime politician and activist went on to explain the objective of telling her story: "In this book, I write about moments from the campaign that I wish I could go back and do over. If the Russians could hack my subconscious, they'd find a long list. I also capture some moments I want to remember forever, like when my tiny granddaughter raced into the room while I was practicing my convention speech, and what it was like hours later to step onstage to deliver that speech as the first woman ever nominated by a major political party for President of the United States." In another section of the book, Hillary remembered feeling uncomfortable when Trump lurked closely behind her during the October debate at Washington University in St. Louis -- just days after his pussy-grabbing comments surfaced. Clinton wrote: "'This is not OK,' I thought. It was the second presidential debate and Donald Trump was looming behind me. Two days before, the world heard him brag about groping women. Now, we were on a small stage, and no matter where I walked, he followed me closely, staring at me, making faces. It was incredibly uncomfortable. He was literally breathing down my neck. My skin crawled. It was one of those moments where you wish you could hit pause and ask everyone watching, 'Well, what would you do?' Do you stay calm, keep smiling and carry on as if he weren't repeatedly invading your space? Or do you turn, looking him in the eye and say loudly and clearly, 'Back up, you creep. Get away from me! I know you love to intimidate women, but you can't intimidate me, so back up.'" She added: "I chose Option A. I kept my cool, aided by a lifetime of difficult men trying to throw me off. I did, however, grip the microphone extra hard. I wonder, though, whether I should have chosen Option B. It certainly would have been better TV. Maybe I have over-learned the lesson of staying calm, biting my tongue, digging my fingernails into a clenched fist, smiling all the while, determined to present a composed face to the world." In her new memoir What Happened, the 69-year-old politician opens up about the 2016 election and the factors that contributed to her devastating loss to Donald Trump for the presidency, from her perspective. Related: Kellyanne Conway Actually Had Nice Things To Say About Hillary Here are the best five highlights from the tell-all (below)! 1. On taking responsibility for losing the election: "I go back over my own shortcomings and the mistakes we made. I take responsibility for all of them. You can blame the data, blame the message, blame anything you want -- but I was the candidate." 2. On the controversial debate with Trump, where he was seen lurking behind her: "This is not okay, I thought. It was the second presidential debate, and Donald Trump was looming behind me. Two days before, the world heard him brag about groping women. Now we were on a small stage and no matter where I walked, he followed me closely, staring at me, making faces. It was incredibly uncomfortable. He was literally breathing down my neck. My skin crawled ... It was one of those moments where you wish you could hit pause and ask everyone watching, ‘Well, what would you do?' Do you stay calm, keep smiling and carry on as if he weren't repeatedly invading your space? Or do you turn, look him in the eye and say loudly and clearly, ‘Back up, you creep. Get away from me. I know you love to intimidate women, but you can't intimidate me, so back up.'" 3. On the Bernie Sanders wound: "He certainly shared my horror at the thought of Donald Trump becoming President, and I appreciated that he campaigned for me in the general election. But he isn't a Democrat -- that's not a smear, that's what he says. He didn't get into the race to make sure a Democrat won the White House, he got in to disrupt the Democratic Party. He was right that Democrats needed to strengthen our focus on working families and that there's always a danger of spending too much time courting donors because of our insane campaign finance system. He also engaged a lot of young people in the political process for the first time, which is extremely important...I am proud to be a Democrat and I wish Bernie were, too." 4. On being disliked by so many people, for seemingly no reason: "What makes me such a lightning rod for fury? I'm really asking. I'm at a loss. I think it's partly because I'm a woman." 5. On her controversial marriage to Bill Clinton: "There were times that I was deeply unsure about whether our marriage could or should survive. But on those days, I asked myself the questions that mattered to me: Do I still love him? And can I still be in this marriage without becoming unrecognizable to myself -- twisted by anger, resentment, or remoteness? The answers were always yes." Will U be picking up a copy?? Most Trump Voters Think He Should Stay In Office Even If Russia Collusion Is PROVEN IN COURT!

It's looking more and more like the Donald Trump team did indeed collude with a foreign power for help winning the U.S. election. In case you haven't followed the latest turn in Robert Mueller's investigation, Trump team member George Papadopoulos has already CONFESSED to seeking Hillary Clinton's hacked emails from Russian agents and then lying to the FBI about it. So what do Trump supporters think about that? What do they say when the scandal isn't fake news after all?? Um... they don't care... In a new poll from Public Policy Polling, a ridiculous 79% of Trump voters say even if collusion is proven, they'd be okay with a criminal staying in office. (BTW, 75% of Trump voters still think the story is BS anyway, so maybe they'll change their tunes as new evidence comes to light?) Apparently these people just don't understand why the U.S.A. might not want a foreign power whose interests don't align with ours having so much control of our government? Donald Trump Jr. & Eric Trump Are Super Jelly Of Jared Kushner!

Jared Kushner has become a prominent, prepubescent voice in Donald Trump's administration — and not everyone is happy about it. Specifically, the president's two eldest sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, who are apparently butthurt their brother-in-law is living his best life in the Washington while they're stuck running the family business in New York! Related: Trump & More React To John McCain Brain Cancer Diagnosis A source close to the family says the Trump boys are envious of Kushner's influential role as POTUS's senior adviser and miss being part of the family fun post-election, explaining to People: "All the attention to Jared is a bit of a sore point and they feel left out of the fun in D.C. They miss being at the center of the action." Awww, is that why Junior lashed out and WikiLeaks'd himself? Ivanka Trump's husband resigned as chief executive of Kushner Companies and as publisher of the Observer in January to become the right-hand manboy of the president. He's been given a big plate in the White House -- taking on criminal justice reform, Middle East peace, and everything in between. But if you ask the Trump boys, they won't be able to tell you why Kushner is getting all the love these days instead of them. The source added: "Don worked on the campaign and Jared gets the big Forbes cover and they make him out to be a big genius, and Don is like, ‘No, I worked on the campaign too!'" While the brothers were very visible and outspoken on the 2016 campaign trail, the 36-year-old Kushner was more of a behind-the-scenes player -- which, in the end, is the type of figure who thrives in the White House. Related: Trump Had Second Secret Meeting With Putin At G20 The family source continues: "During the campaign, the brothers thrived on being the spokespeople and speaking at rallies and being very visible. Jared was able to build much more influence and power by doing exactly the opposite." Makes sense! After all, there's only room for one loud, obnoxious Trump man in the West Wing. Though Don Jr. and Eric may be jelly of their brother-in-law, the source says there is no "outward hostility" toward Kushner -- and although Jared "seems uptight," he's actually "hilarious" once you get to know him! Related: Trump Donors Are Paying Junior's Legal Bills But Ivanka's husband may no longer feel the same way about the Trump boys, especially after getting caught in the fallout of Don Jr.'s dumbass email purge. Along with former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, Don Jr. and Kushner are scheduled to testify before the Senate judiciary committee for the June 2016 meeting they attended with Russian officials promising dirt on Hillary Clinton. Don Jr. said he was posting the email chain -- which Kushner and Manafort were copied on -- for "transparency," but the insider says he's caused a whole legal mess to unravel, revealing: "[Don Jr. and Eric] were better off where they were, they bore no responsibility. This now brings Don into the story and attaches him to this negativity." Yup, he definitely needed some attention. [Image via CNN/Instagram.].....»»
