McKayla Maroney Accuses USA Gymnastics Of Trying To Silence Her Alleged Larry Nassar Abuse In New Lawsuit!

As we reported in October, McKayla Maroney revealed on Twitter that she was repeatedly sexually abused by USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar since the age of 13. Following the gymnast's shocking post, former teammates Aly Raisman and Gabby Douglas have also accused the disgraced physician of assault. Although USA Gymnastics released a statement saying they were "outraged and disgusted" by Nassar's alleged crimes against Maroney, the 22-year-old claims the organization actually tried to block her story from coming out. Related: Danny Masterson Responds To Being Fired From The Ranch On Wednesday, the gold medalist filed a lawsuit in California's Superior Court accusing USAG of making her sign a non-disclosure agreement as part of a financial settlement she needed to pay for psychological treatment. According to court papers, the group allegedly insisted on an NDA so "it could further conceal and shield from public scrutiny, outside investigation, and law enforcement, the true nature of Nassar's horrific sexual abuse of minors." Additionally: "Plaintiff alleges that Defendant USAG had a plan to keep the sexual abuse of Nassar quiet, and allow Nassar to quietly leave USAG, further silencing his victims." Maroney's attorney John Manly tells NBC News: "Those responsible for this should be removed from the Olympic movement and USA Gymnastics... If they would treat one of the most famous athletes in world like this, how poorly would they treat a recreational gymnast abused by her coach." Allegedly, in California where Maroney lives, a victim of child sexual abuse cannot be forced to sign such an agreement as part of a settlement. Maroney is also fearful that Nassar took explicit photographs of her during the alleged assault. The lawsuit says: "McKayla Maroney alleges that she believes photographs were taken of her while Nassar was sexually abusing her under the guise of treatment. McKayla Maroney is further informed and believes, and on that basis alleges, that these photographs were shared by Nassar with other pedophiles for their sexual gratification... McKayla Maroney continues to worry, distress, experience concern, anxiety, and depression over whether Nassar's photographs of her are still circulating through the internet, and whether they are possessed by other pedophiles and sexual deviants, and whether she will ever know how widely these photographs have been shared or whether they will eventually surface later in her lifetime." She is seeking damages from USA Gymnastics, the U.S. Olympic Committee, Michgan State University, and Nassar. As we reported earlier this month, the controversial doctor was sentenced to 60 years in federal prison on child pornography possession charges. We will continue to keep you updated. Gold Medalist Aly Raisman Admits She Was Sexually Abused By Disgraced USA Gymnastics Team Physician Larry Nassar

Aly Raisman is angry, and rightfully so! For a sit down with 60 Minutes, the Olympic great has opened up about the sexual abuse she suffered at the hands of USA Gymnastics' longtime team physician, Larry Nassar. This admission comes a month after her Fierce Five teammate, McKayla Maroney admitted she was abused by the doctor for many years, beginning when she was only 13. Related: Corey Haim's Mom Says She Knows Who Abused Her Son In a preview for Sunday's candid chat, the gold medalist relayed: "I am angry. I'm really upset. I see these young girls that come up to me, and they ask for pictures or autographs, whatever it is … I just want to create change so that they never, ever have to go through this." It's said that Aly has also detailed the sexual abuse in her upcoming memoir, Fierce. And it appears as though Raisman blames not just Nassar for her suffering, as she added: "Why are we looking at why didn't the girls speak up? Why not look at what about the culture? ... What did USA Gymnastics do, and Larry Nassar do, to manipulate these girls so much that they are so afraid to speak up?" We mean, she makes an excellent point. Per the interview, the American athlete first filed a complaint against Nassar when she spoke to the FBI shortly after the Olympic Rio Games last summer. The organization has since responded to Aly's allegations, as they noted in a statement: "USA Gymnastics is very sorry that any athlete has been harmed. We want to work with Aly and all interested athletes to keep athletes safe." Nassar is currently behind bars in a Michigan-based prison as he pled guilty to child pornography charges back in July. In fact, authorities discovered 37,000 images and videos of child pornography belonging to Nassar. One video featured Go Pro footage of Nassar molesting a group of young girls in a pool. So gross. We couldn't be prouder of Aly and McKayla for speaking out. Be sure to tune in to 60 Minutes on Sunday to hear more from Aly. [Image via Instagram.].....»»

McKayla Maroney Will NOT Be Fined By USA Gymnastics For Giving Victim Impact Statement Against Larry Nassar

The way it should be. As we reported, McKayla Maroney filed a lawsuit in December 2017 against USA Gymnastics for unlawfully making her sign a non-disclosure agreement as part of a financial settlement she received to pay for psychological treatment after being sexually abused by the team's doctor Larry Nassar for years. After reports came out yesterday saying the Olympian could potentially face a $100K fine for violating the NDA by speaking at Nassar's sentencing hearing, celebs like Chrissy Teigen, Kristen Bell, Susan Sarandon, and Parks and Recreation creator Mike Schur pledged to pay the possible penalty in its entirety. Now, USA Gymnastics is saying Maroney would not be penalized should she decide to give her victim impact statement in court. Related: Simone Biles Says She Was Also Sexually Abused By Larry Nassar! According to USA Today Sports, the statement reads: "USA Gymnastics has not sought and will not seek any money from McKayla Maroney for her brave statements made in describing her victimization and abuse by Larry Nassar, nor for any victim impact statements she wants to make to Larry Nassar at this hearing or at any subsequent hearings related to his sentencing." The organization adds: "This has been her right and USA Gymnastics encourages McKayla and anyone who has been abused to speak out. USA Gymnastics remains focused on our highest priority — the safety, health and well-being of our athletes and creating a culture that empowers and supports them." Maybe they should have been dedicated to "empowering and supporting" the athletes before 150 women -- and those are just the ones to have come forward -- got abused. Nassar will be sentenced this week in Michigan federal court on seven counts of criminal sexual assault, which he plead guilty to in November 2016. 88 women are expected to give victim impact statements. We'll keep you posted. [Image via FayesVision/WENN.].....»»

Father Of Abused Gymnasts Lashes Out At Coach, Should Probably Kill Himself (VIDEO)

The jig is up for Larry Nassar, the USA gymnastics coach who fingered dozens of underage girls – some as young as six-years-old – while assuring them that the practice was part of their treatment, and he will surely be sentenced to many years of his own physicals in prison at the hands of a guy named Tank. But Nassar’s more immediate punishment recently came from a father of three of the abused gymnasts, Randall Margraves, who attempted to attack Nassar in court after hearing testimonials from two of his daughters. Security guards intervened before Margraves could get his hands on the former coach, but Nassar got at least a taste of the hospitality he’s sure to expect in the clinker. Nassar’s crime is clear-cut – he’s a disgusting entitled amoral predator who got his rocks off at the expense of at least sixty girls’ childhoods – but Margraves can go ahead as sit his dramatic ass down, because I don’t believe for a second that a parent wouldn’t know that his kids were getting sexually assaulted. And even if he truly didn’t know about the damage Nassar was inflicting on his daughters, Margraves thought the best possible future for his kids was pouring them into skin-tight leotards and placing them in the care of a man who chose to work intimately with little girls in closed-off rooms for a living? Fuck Margraves. The situation is like Toddlers and Tiaras mixed with the Catholic church mixed with a Cub Scout master named Jimmi with an i, and I hope when Margraves closes his eyes and pictures Nassar finger blasting his innocent young girls, that deep down inside he knows that he put them in that vulnerable position, and that he understands that he’s projecting the rage he feels towards his own neglect onto Nassar. And I hope he fucking kills himself. Happy Friday.   Photo Credit: YouTube The post Father Of Abused Gymnasts Lashes Out At Coach, Should Probably Kill Himself (VIDEO) appeared first on WWTDD - What Would Tyler Durden Do?......»»

Related: Larry Nassar Begs Judge To Stop Victim Impact Stories The decorated gymnast, who says the abuse began when she was 14, shared during her victim impact statement in front of the judge: "I thought that training for the Olympics would be hardest thing I would ever have to do. But the hardest thing I've ever had to do is process that I am a victim of Larry Nassar." She added: "My teammates and I were subjected to his medical care every month at the national team training center in Texas. He was allowed to treat us alone in hotels without any supervision.Nobody was protecting us, nobody was even concerned if we were being sexually abused. The lack of accountability from USAG, USOC and Michigan State [makes us] confused and disappointed." Wieber not only blasted the serial pedophile, but she also accused USA Gymnastics and the U.S. Olympic Committee of allowing this monster access to young girls. She said: "Larry Nassar is accountable. USA Gymnastics is accountable. The U.S. Olympic Committee is accountable. (USA Gymnastics') lack of accountability has caused me and many other girls to remain shameful, confused and disappointed. My teammates and friends have been through enough and now it's time for change. The current and future gymnasts do not deserve to live in anxiety, fear and being unprotected like I was." As we reported, ex-USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar will be sentenced this week in a Michigan court room after pleading guilty to multiple charges of sexual assault in November 2016. The disgraced physician has already been slapped with 60 years in federal prison on child pornography possession charges. Related: Simone Biles Says She Was Also Abused By Nassar! On Tuesday, the formerly anonymous victim Kyle Stephens appeared at the hearing to confront her abuser one last time. The young woman -- who says she was the first to speak out against his abuse -- told the court: "I was the first to testify in this case, and worried of the attention that could come of that, I asked for complete anonymity... I'm addressing you publicly today as a final step and statement to myself that I have nothing to be ashamed of." According to the Washington Post, Nassar -- a family friend of Stephens -- first began abusing her when she was 6 years old in the boiler room of his house's basement. The victim says the medical professional later masturbated in front of her, rubbed his genitalia on her feet, and placed his fingers inside her vagina. "I have been coming for you for a long time. I've told counselors your name in hopes they would report you. I've told your name to Child Protective Services twice. I gave a testament to get your medical license revoked. You were first arrested on my charges. And now as the only nonmedical victim to come forward, I testify to let the world know you are a repulsive liar." Although she told her family, they didn't initially believe her, and she continued interacting with Nassar, acting as his family's babysitter. When she turned 18, her father finally believed her story before committing suicide in 2016. Though he was "experiencing debilitating health issues," he also "had to bear the shame and self-loathing that stemmed from his defense of Larry Nassar." "Perhaps you have figured it out by now, but little girls don't stay little forever. They grow into strong women that return to destroy your world." Aly Raisman made this point abundantly clear as she took to Twitter on Wednesday to comment on the former doctor's 40 to 175 years sentence for sexually abusing his (often young) patients. As you surely know, the Olympic gymnast was one of more than 150 victims who came forward to accuse Nassar of assault. Related: Luann de Lesseps Officially Hit With A Felony Charge Raisman started her note by thanking her "fellow survivors" for their "courage, strength, and leadership." Not to mention, Aly also gave a very special shoutout to Judge Rosemarie Aquilina, who allowed the many victims to address Larry directly in court. She wrote: "To Judge Aquilina, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your leadership, your professionalism, your compassion, and your commitment to allow each and EVERY ONE of us survivors the opportunity to share our impact statements in open court was extremely important and meaningful. As I shared in court, I wasn't planning to speak, but thanks to the army of survivors and you, I am forever grateful that all of our voices are finally heard. Thank you for listening to us all." Hear! Hear! The 23-year-old also praised the fans that rallied behind her during this "excruciating ordeal," saying their words have "meant so much" to her. Sadly, Aly believes the drama is not yet over, as she called for a special investigation "to figure out exactly how this disaster happened." The Final Five captain continued: "...this story is not over, this story is bigger than Larry Nassar, or Steve Penny, or the three Board members who resigned earlier this week... Thinking otherwise is dangerous to the future generation. Today was an important victory but there is still work to be done." Well said. You can read Aly's ENTIRE statement for yourself (below). The 23-year-old two-time Olympian, who was part of both 2012′s “Fierce Five” and 2016′s “Final Five,” detailed how Nassar gained and betrayed her trust, as well as how his mandatory “treatments” were unavoidable. “I am also here to tell you to your face Larry that you have not taken gymnastics away from me. I love this sport and that love is stronger than the evil that resides in you, and those who enabled you to hurt many people,” Aly said during her speech. “You already know you’re going away to a place where you won’t be able to hurt anybody ever again. But I am here to tell you that I will not rest until every last trace of your influences on this sport has been destroyed like the cancer it is.” Nassar was sentenced to 60 years in prison for his actions. Larry was accused of sexual assault by several gymnasts, including Aly, 23, and he has pleaded guilty to multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct in the first degree, now reportedly facing 60 years in prison. “Shame on you, Larry, you are the worst example of humanity,” Aly wrote in her statement, posted on The Players’ Tribune. “You promised me that you would heal my injuries. You gave me gifts to make me think you were a good person, to make me believe you were my friend. You were nice so that we would trust you, to make it easier for you to take advantage of so many people, including me. But you lied to me. You lied to all of us.” “I became almost numb to my feelings,” she continued. “It was the only way I could survive the Olympic process. It was exhausting. The stress of constantly keeping certain thoughts in the back of my mind may have allowed me to focus on the moment, but it become more and more painful over time, both physically and emotionally.” Click inside to hear what else she had to say… “I am trying now to take back my control, to remind myself that Larry has no power over me,” she added. “It is never easy, but I am fighting to believe that the sport — which I do love — is independent of Larry and those who allowed him to do what he did. I’ve decided that I can’t let him take gymnastics away from me.” Read her full statement here......»»

I know how hard it is to speak publicly about something so horrible, and so personal, because it’s happened to me too,” McKayla wrote. “People should know that this is not just happening in Hollywood. This is happening everywhere. Wherever there is a position of power, there seems to be potential for abuse. I had a dream to go to the Olympics, and the things that I had to endure to get there, were unnecessary, and disgusting,” she continued. “I was molested by Dr. Larry Nassar, the team doctor for the US for the US Women’s National Gymnastics Team, and Olympic Team. Dr. Nassar told me that I was receiving ‘medically necessary treatment that he had been performing on patients for over 30 years.’ It started when I was 13 years old, at one of my first National Team training camps, in Texas, and it didn’t end until I left the sport,” McKayla wrote. “For me, the scariest night of my life happened when I was 15 years old. I had flown all day and night with the team to get to Tokyo. He’d given me a sleeping pill for the flight, and the next thing I know, I was all alone with him in his hotel room getting a ‘treatment.’ I thought I was going to die that night,” she bravely continued. #MeToo pic.twitter.com/lYXaDTuOsS — mckayla (@McKaylaMaroney) October 18, 2017.....»»
