The band, fronted by singer Brendon Urie, took the stage for their first ever sold out show at the Staples Center on Wednesday night (August 16) in Los Angeles. P!ATD, who released their hit single “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” all the way back in 2005, gave a stellar performance of songs from their catalog spanning the past decade. The group is now more popular than ever and proved their lasting longevity as 21,000 fans screamed the lyrics to songs from their No. 1 album Pray For The Wicked. Aside from the hits, Brendon also covered Cyndi Lauper‘s “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” and Bonnie Raitt‘s “I Can’t Make You Love Me” as he impressively floated across the crowd on a suspended grand piano. The night concluded with a three song shirtless encore from Brendon, closing the show with a confetti filled performance of Death of a Bachelor‘s anthemic “Victorious.” Panic! at the Disco‘s Pray for the Wicked tour continues through next year, including a return to Los Angeles. The tour has been dubbed the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, and tickets will be available on February 2, 2018. “I always thought I was going to be like Ray Charles, BB King – on the road forever,” Elton said during a press conference. “My priorities have changed. But I still did 96 shows,” Elton said. “Believe me – if you ever do 300 shows, you’re not in ill health.” Elton has been touring since 1969, and now has two 7-year-old twin boys, Elijah and Zachary, with David Furnish. View this post on Instagram 1-13-19. thinking. philosophizing. four years free from alcohol, today. i used to numb the pain before i knew to heal. when i look back on it now, i can honestly say that sobriety is what birthed my queerness, as i understand it today. life was too short, and suddenly, i had no fucks left to give. i needed to be myself. and, more important, i needed to find myself, figure out who that person was, because the ways i’d been halfway hiding had almost killed me. if i wasn’t taught to hate this part of my identity and expression by the world, would i have really tried to kill it? would i really have ever tried to drown myself, escape from it all? would i ever have allowed the spirits to take over? i’m not blaming anyone but myself, but imagine for a second what this world would look like if we didn’t teach our children to hate themselves for being different. that’s where hating other people comes into play. if you can’t hate yourself, how the hell are you going to hate anyone else? today i choose love in all forms. if you or anyone you know is struggling with addiction, seek the help it deserves. it doesn’t just get better. you get better. you get stronger. you get braver. the world can feel like a dark place sometimes. it may not always seem like life can get better, but you get better, if you want it. happy birthday baby, i love you so much. and i love y’all. #allofitisyou A post shared by nicotortorella (@nicotortorella) on Jan 13, 2019 at 11:24am PST Garrett Clayton really does have beautiful eyes. People just seem to want to believe some dramatic turn.” Newlyweds Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth spent New Year’s with Liam’s family.
